A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
     (a) Make sure that the APU BLEED, all ENG BLEED and the PACK 1(2) pushbutton switches are released.
     (b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to operate these pushbutton switches.
   (2) On the HP and LP ground connectors, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to supply the ground air sources.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the access platform is in position in zone 121/122 and 128.
   (2) Make sure that the doors 811 and 824 are open.

C. Cleaning of Component Interface and/or Adjacent Area.
   (1) Remove the adhesive of the old strips with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) .

D. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the self-adhesive foam tape Sealing Profile-- Silicone Foam - (Material No.14JAB1) is in correct condition. If necessary:
     (a) Remove the defective self-adhesive foam tape Sealing Profile-- Silicone Foam - (Material No.14JAB1) .
     (b) Clean the contact surface with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a clean lint-free cloth, Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
     (c) Install a new self-adhesive foam tape Sealing Profile-- Silicone Foam - (Material No.14JAB1) .

E. Inspection of the Adhesive Tape
   (1) Make sure that adhesive tapes are clean and in correct condition.
If necessary, repair the related adhesive tape (Ref. AMM TASK 53-12-00-300-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-12-13-420-050-A
A. Installation of the FWD Avionics-Compartment Floor-Panels
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Put the floor panels (4), (8), (9) and (10) in position.
   (3) Make sure that the clipnuts (6) are installed on the structure (11). If necessary, replace the defective clipnuts (6).
   (4) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the screws (5).
   (5) Install the screws (5) and TORQUE them to 0.35 m.daN (30.97 lbf.in).
   (6) Put the stiffener (2) in position.
   (7) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the screws (1).
   (8) Install the screws (1) and TORQUE them to 0.35 m.daN (30.97 lbf.in).
   (9) Install the screws (3) and the nuts (7).
   (10) TORQUE the nuts (7) to 0.42 m.daN (37.17 lbf.in).

B. Installation of the AFT Avionics-Compartment Floor-Panels
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Put the floor panels (14), (15), (16) and (17) in position.
   (3) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the screws (13).
   (4) Install the screws (13).
   (5) TORQUE the screws (13) to between 0.40 and 0.15 m.daN (35.40 and 13.27 lbf.in ) T.
   (6) Put the floor panels (20) and (21) in position.
   (7) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.
06LCG9) to the screws (19).
   (8) Install the screws (19) with the washers (18).
   (9) TORQUE the screws (19) to between 0.40 and 0.15 m.daN (35.40 and 13.27 lbf.in ) T.
   (10) Install the panel (12).
   (11) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.
06LCG9) to the screws (11).
   (12) Install the screws (11).
   (13) TORQUE the screws (11) to between 0.40 and 0.15 m.daN (35.40 and 13.27 lbf.in ) T.
   (14) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
   (15) Connect the air-conditioning ventilation duct to the panel (20).
   (16) Put the fitting (24), the track (27) and the sheet metal assembly (30) in position.
   (17) Install the screws (22), (25), (28) and the washers (23), (26), (29).
   (18) TORQUE the screws (22), (25) and (28) to between 0.40 and 0.15 m.daN (35.40 and 13.27 lbf.in )
