Subtask 52-00-00-860-050-A
Subtask 52-00-00-081-050-A
(1) For doors 831 and 841, remove the 98D52003009000 SAFETY BARRIER FWD PAX DOOR (4) from the opening of the removed doors as follows:
(a) Retract the sling loops (5) of the safety barrier (4).
(b) Push the release knob (3) to unlock it.
(c) Pull and release the sliding end (2) from door stop fitting 1.
(d) Remove the fixed end (1) from door stop fitting 1.
(e) Do steps (b) thru (d) again for door stop fittings 2, 5 and 6.
(2) For doors 832 and 842, remove the 98D52003009001 SAFETY BARRIER REAR PAX DOOR (9) from the opening of the removed doors as follows:
(a) Retract the sling loops (10) of the safety barrier (9).
(b) Push the release knob (8) to unlock it.
(c) Pull and release the sliding end (7) from door stop fitting 1.
(d) Remove the fixed end (6) from door stop fitting 1.
(e) Do steps (b) thru (d) again for door stop fittings 3, 5 and 6.
Subtask 52-00-00-081-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(1) For doors 834, 844 and 843, remove the 98D52003009002 SAFETY BARRIER EMERGECY DOORS EXCEPT FWD LEFT (23) from the opening of the removed doors as follows:
(a) Retract the sling loops (24) of the safety barrier (23).
(b) Push the release knob (22) to unlock it.
(c) Pull and release the sliding end (21) from door stop fitting 1.
(d) Remove the fixed end (20) from door stop fitting 1.
(e) Do steps (b) thru (d) again for door stop fittings 4, 6 and 8.
(2) For door 833, remove the 98D52003009003 SAFETY BARRIER EMERGENCY DOORS FWD LEFT (28) from the opening of the removed door as follows:
(a) Retract the sling loops (29) of the safety barrier (28).
(b) Push the release knob (27) to unlock it.
(c) Pull and release the sliding end (26) from door stop fitting 2.
(d) Remove the fixed end (25) from door stop fitting 2.
(e) Do steps (b) thru (d) again for door stop fittings 4, 6 and 8.

(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) is in position at the applicable door.
(2) Make sure that the applicable door is open.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL/REMOVE THE GSE-TOOL, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE APPLICABLE GSE INSTRUCTION MANUAL. WHILE YOU OPERATE THIS TOOL, CAREFULLY OBEY THEM. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
A. Removal of the Safety Barrier from the Passenger/Crew Door Frame(1) For doors 831 and 841, remove the 98D52003009000 SAFETY BARRIER FWD PAX DOOR (4) from the opening of the removed doors as follows:
(a) Retract the sling loops (5) of the safety barrier (4).
(b) Push the release knob (3) to unlock it.
(c) Pull and release the sliding end (2) from door stop fitting 1.
(d) Remove the fixed end (1) from door stop fitting 1.
(e) Do steps (b) thru (d) again for door stop fittings 2, 5 and 6.
(2) For doors 832 and 842, remove the 98D52003009001 SAFETY BARRIER REAR PAX DOOR (9) from the opening of the removed doors as follows:
(a) Retract the sling loops (10) of the safety barrier (9).
(b) Push the release knob (8) to unlock it.
(c) Pull and release the sliding end (7) from door stop fitting 1.
(d) Remove the fixed end (6) from door stop fitting 1.
(e) Do steps (b) thru (d) again for door stop fittings 3, 5 and 6.

B. Removal of the Safety Barrier from the Emergency-Exit Door Frame (1) For doors 834, 844 and 843, remove the 98D52003009002 SAFETY BARRIER EMERGECY DOORS EXCEPT FWD LEFT (23) from the opening of the removed doors as follows:
(a) Retract the sling loops (24) of the safety barrier (23).
(b) Push the release knob (22) to unlock it.
(c) Pull and release the sliding end (21) from door stop fitting 1.
(d) Remove the fixed end (20) from door stop fitting 1.
(e) Do steps (b) thru (d) again for door stop fittings 4, 6 and 8.
(2) For door 833, remove the 98D52003009003 SAFETY BARRIER EMERGENCY DOORS FWD LEFT (28) from the opening of the removed door as follows:
(a) Retract the sling loops (29) of the safety barrier (28).
(b) Push the release knob (27) to unlock it.
(c) Pull and release the sliding end (26) from door stop fitting 2.
(d) Remove the fixed end (25) from door stop fitting 2.
(e) Do steps (b) thru (d) again for door stop fittings 4, 6 and 8.

A. Close the passenger/crew door.
(1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(2) Obey the special precautions after the work on the passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002).
(3) Close passenger/crew door 831, 841, 832 or 842 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 52-00-00-410-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(2) Obey the special precautions after the work on the passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002).
(3) Close passenger/crew door 831, 841, 832 or 842 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
B. Close the emergency exit door.
(1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(2) Obey the special precautions after the work on the emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
(3) Close emergency exit door 833, 834, 843 or 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(2) Obey the special precautions after the work on the emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
(3) Close emergency exit door 833, 834, 843 or 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
