A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft is electrically grounded (Ref. AMM TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
(2) On panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW P/BSW is off (the ON legend is off).
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(5) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector.
(6) On panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT pushbutton switch is set to the OFF position.
(7) On overhead panel 35VU, release BAT pushbuttons switches.
(8) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on panel 35VU to tell persons not to operate the batteries.
(9) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on panel 800VU to tell persons not to operate BATT POWER switch 10PR.
(10) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start ENG1 and ENG2.
(11) Disconnect the battery (Ref. AMM TASK 24-38-51-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the aircraft is electrically grounded (Ref. AMM TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
(2) On panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW P/BSW is off (the ON legend is off).
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(5) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector.
(6) On panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT pushbutton switch is set to the OFF position.
(7) On overhead panel 35VU, release BAT pushbuttons switches.
(8) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on panel 35VU to tell persons not to operate the batteries.
(9) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on panel 800VU to tell persons not to operate BATT POWER switch 10PR.
(10) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start ENG1 and ENG2.
(11) Disconnect the battery (Ref. AMM TASK 24-38-51-000-001).
Subtask 49-96-00-040-058-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Deactivation of the Oil Heater
(1) In rear circuit breaker panel 121VU, at position K41, disconnect the wires and remove circuit breaker 1KT (1).
(2) Install the dummy circuit breaker (2) in the circuit breaker position.
(a) If necessary, use a NSA936501TA1003 Terminal and a NSA936501TA2003 Terminal to connect the wires.
5. Close-up(1) In rear circuit breaker panel 121VU, at position K41, disconnect the wires and remove circuit breaker 1KT (1).
(2) Install the dummy circuit breaker (2) in the circuit breaker position.
(a) If necessary, use a NSA936501TA1003 Terminal and a NSA936501TA2003 Terminal to connect the wires.
Subtask 49-96-00-860-072-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Connect the battery (Ref. AMM TASK 24-38-51-400-001).
(a) Make sure that the label of the plug is the same as the label on the receptacle ESPM 205210.
(b) Make sure that the plug is correctly locked ESPM 205210.
(2) Set the APU MASTER SW P/BSW to off (the ON legend goes off).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Connect the battery (Ref. AMM TASK 24-38-51-400-001).
(a) Make sure that the label of the plug is the same as the label on the receptacle ESPM 205210.
(b) Make sure that the plug is correctly locked ESPM 205210.
(2) Set the APU MASTER SW P/BSW to off (the ON legend goes off).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
