A. Safety Precautions
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3) Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that ground fire extinguishing equipment is available.
(5) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
Subtask 49-32-51-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Combustion Chamber Drain Valve.
(2) Disconnect the drain tube (1) from the drain valve (2).
(3) Remove the drain valve (2) from the combustion chamber elbow (4).
(4) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(5) Remove and discard the packing.
CAUTION:
YOU MUST USE TWO WRENCHES AND HOLD THE COMPONENT WHEN YOU REMOVE/INSTALL THE PIPE COUPLINGS AND/OR UNIONS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT.
CAUTION:
PUT PLASTIC CAPS OR PLUGS ON ALL FUEL AND/OR LUBRICATION SYSTEM COMPONENTS AND LINES. IF YOU USE TAPE, CLOTH, OR METAL CAPS ON THEM, YOU CAN DAMAGE THE APU.
(1) Position a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the combustion chamber drain valve (2). (2) Disconnect the drain tube (1) from the drain valve (2).
(3) Remove the drain valve (2) from the combustion chamber elbow (4).
(4) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(5) Remove and discard the packing.
