A. Remove the main fuel nozzles and manifold (Ref. AMM TASK 49-31-42-000-003)

4. Procedure
Subtask 49-31-42-210-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Inspection/Check of the Secondary Fuel Nozzles and Manifold
(1) Inspect the manifold fuel tube insulation for splitting, hardening and porosity. None is permitted.
(2) Make sure that the nozzle fuel-inlet connections (2) are not damaged, or blocked with carbon material.
(3) Examine the nozzle mounting bosses (5) and make sure that they are clean and not damaged.
(4) Examine the atomizer assembly for damage or carbon material. None is permitted.
(5) Blow filtered air through each nozzle connection. Make sure that there are no blockages.

NOTE: If a blockage is found replace the nozzle assembly.
