NOTE: This task is applicable for A318, A319, A320, A321 with the rinse valve P/N 15800-348 Revision A, B, C installed on Toilet assemblies.

A. Removal of the Component
(1) Remove the water valve (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-55-000-001).
(2) Remove the rinse valve screen:
(a) Remove the water supply line to the water valve.
(b) Remove the rinse valve screen.

4. Procedure
Subtask 38-31-55-160-050-A

A. Cleaning of the Component (in the workshop)
(1) Clean and do an inspection of the water valve and the rinse valve screen:
(a) Send the water valve and the rinse valve screen to the workshop to clean them.
(b) After the water valve and the rinse valve screen are cleaned:
1 Do an inspection of the water valve and the rinse valve screen.
2 Make sure that there is no contamination.
3 If there is contamination, clean them again.
(c) If necessary, replace the water valve and the rinse valve screen.

A. Installation of the Component
(1) Install the rinse valve screen:
(a) Put the rinse valve screen in its installation position.
(b) Install the water supply line.
(2) Install the water valve (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-55-400-001).
(3) Flush the toilet and make sure it flushes correctly (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-00-710-009).
