(1) Open the lavatory door.
(2) Open the access door to the potable-water shutoff valve.
(3) Close the potable-water shutoff valve.
(4) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to open the potable-water shutoff valve.

(2) Open the access door to the potable-water shutoff valve.
(3) Close the potable-water shutoff valve.

E. Operate the water faucet until no water flows into the washbasin.
4. ProcedureSubtask 38-12-41-020-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Water Faucet
(1) Remove the screw(s) (2) with an ALLEN KEY - DRIVER PNR ISO 2936-2.5.
(2) Carefully pull the water faucet (1) away from the wash basin (4).
(3) Remove and discard the O-rings (5).
(4) Remove the washers (6).
(5) Carefully pull the hose assemblies (3) away from the wash basin (4).
(6) Disconnect the connections (9) from the fittings (10).
(7) Loosen the nuts (8) but do not remove them.
(8) Move the fittings (10) away from the brackets (7) and (11).
(9) Remove the hose assemblies (3).
(10) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
Subtask 38-12-41-020-050-N ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the screw(s) (2) with an ALLEN KEY - DRIVER PNR ISO 2936-2.5.
(2) Carefully pull the water faucet (1) away from the wash basin (4).
(3) Remove and discard the O-rings (5).
(4) Remove the washers (6).
(5) Carefully pull the hose assemblies (3) away from the wash basin (4).
(6) Disconnect the connections (9) from the fittings (10).
(7) Loosen the nuts (8) but do not remove them.
(8) Move the fittings (10) away from the brackets (7) and (11).
(9) Remove the hose assemblies (3).
(10) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
A. Removal of the Water Faucet
(1) Remove the screw(s):
(a) In the lavatory:
(3) Remove and discard the packings (6).
(4) Remove the retaining washers (7).
(5) Carefully pull the hose assemblies (4) away from the wash basin (5).
(6) Disconnect the connections (12) from the fittings (10).
(7) Loosen the nuts (11) but do not remove them.
(8) Move the hose assemblies (4) with the fittings (10) away from the brackets (8) and (13).
(9) Remove the fittings (10):
(a) Disconnect the fittings (10) from the hose assemblies (4) and remove them.
(b) Remove the filters (9).
(10) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(1) Remove the screw(s):
(a) In the lavatory:
- Remove the screws (2) with an ALLEN KEY - DRIVER PNR ISO 2936-2.5.
- Remove the screw (3).
- Remove the screw (3).
(3) Remove and discard the packings (6).
(4) Remove the retaining washers (7).
(5) Carefully pull the hose assemblies (4) away from the wash basin (5).
(6) Disconnect the connections (12) from the fittings (10).
(7) Loosen the nuts (11) but do not remove them.
(8) Move the hose assemblies (4) with the fittings (10) away from the brackets (8) and (13).
(9) Remove the fittings (10):
(a) Disconnect the fittings (10) from the hose assemblies (4) and remove them.
(b) Remove the filters (9).
(10) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
Wash Basin Faucet
