Subtask 34-36-18-860-050-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) In the cockpit, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on the center pedestal to tell persons not to operate or to start the weather radar system.
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the radome in zone 110.
(3) Make sure that the radome 110AL is open (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-010-001).
Subtask 34-36-18-865-051-A (1) In the cockpit, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on the center pedestal to tell persons not to operate or to start the weather radar system.

C. Preparation for Installation

(3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
4. Procedure(1) Precautions
NOTE: If you install the same antenna, it is necessary to clean it with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9)
(2) Remove the used sealant from the fuselage with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . (3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 34-36-18-420-050-A
A. Installation of the Glide/Slope Antenna
(1) Apply Release Agent-- Liquid Wax - (Material No.14DBB1) to the bulkhead (4) where you install the antenna and to the antenna (1) mount.
(2) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) to the bulkhead (4) where you install the antenna and to the antenna (1) mount (Ref. AMM TASK 51-76-11-300-001).
(4) Put the AIPC 34-36-18-01-010 O-RINGS (2) in the correct position on the antenna (1).
(5) Connect the coaxial connectors (3) to the antenna (1).
(6) Put the antenna (1) in position on the bulkhead (4).
(7) Attach the antenna (1) with the screws (6).
(8) Remove the sealant which is not necessary.
(9) Apply a sealing bead with Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Quick Curing - (Material No.06ABF1) around the antenna (1).
(10) Make the antenna contour smooth.
Subtask 34-36-18-865-052-A (1) Apply Release Agent-- Liquid Wax - (Material No.14DBB1) to the bulkhead (4) where you install the antenna and to the antenna (1) mount.
(2) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) to the bulkhead (4) where you install the antenna and to the antenna (1) mount (Ref. AMM TASK 51-76-11-300-001).
NOTE: Make sure that there is no sealant in the screws holes.
(3) Remove the blanking caps from the coaxial connectors (3) and (5). (4) Put the AIPC 34-36-18-01-010 O-RINGS (2) in the correct position on the antenna (1).
(5) Connect the coaxial connectors (3) to the antenna (1).
(6) Put the antenna (1) in position on the bulkhead (4).
(7) Attach the antenna (1) with the screws (6).
(8) Remove the sealant which is not necessary.
(9) Apply a sealing bead with Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Quick Curing - (Material No.06ABF1) around the antenna (1).
(10) Make the antenna contour smooth.
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Do a check of the maximum bonding value (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802):

- Make sure that the maximum bonding value is not more than 5 milliohms.
D. Do the functional test of the two MMRs (para. Reception test with tool) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-00-720-002) or (Ref. AMM D/O 34-36-00-72).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the radome 110AL (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-410-001).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
