WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE STROBE LIGHTS FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES AFTER OPERATION. THE STROBE LIGHT WILL STILL BE HOT.
WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE THE STROBE LIGHT FOR AT LEAST TEN MINUTES AFTER YOU DE-ENERGIZE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS. THE HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL CURRENT IN THE CAPACITOR OF THE STROBE LIGHT IS DANGEROUS.

A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
   (2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit on panel 25VU to tell persons not to operate the navigation lights or the strobe lights.

   (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

D. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable zone 534 or 634.
   (2) Remove the glazing panel (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-37-13-000-802).
4. Procedure
Subtask 33-48-14-020-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Strobe Light
   (1) Make sure that the electrical connector (2) is disconnected.
   (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Remove the sealant from the bolt (5) and washer (6) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
   (4) Remove the bolts (4) and (5) and the washers (3) and (6).
   (5) Remove the strobe light (7) from the glazing panel (1).
   (6) Put the strobe light (7) into a BAG - ANTISTATIC and put it in safe storage.
