A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) In the cockpit, on overhead control and indicating panel 25VU, make sure that the switch 3LA NAV & LOGO ON/OFF is in the OFF position.
   (2) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

C. Safety Precautions
   (1) Depressurize the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
   (2) Install the 98D27403500000 PITCH TRIM CONTROL LOCKING in the cockpit pedestal center.
   (3) Install the 98D27903500000 PIN-SIDE STICK LOCKING in the captain side sticks.
   (4) In the cockpit, on overhead control and indicating panel 25VU, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell the persons not to operate the logo lights.

WARNING: YOU MUST PUT ON AND ATTACH A SAFETY HARNESS BEFORE YOU START WORK:
  • ON THE THS OR IN THE REAR FUSELAGE
  • ON TOP OF THE WINGS OR PYLONS.
WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.
   (1) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT) in position at zone 334 for the left logo light and/or zone 344 for the right logo light.
4. Procedure
Subtask 33-47-11-020-057-A
A. Removal of the Logo Light
   (1) For Ground Based Augmentation System (GBAS) Landing System (GLS) filament-light technology:
     (a) Remove the sealant around the frame assembly (2) and the spar box skin.
     (b) Remove the screws (1) from the frame assembly (2).
     (c) Remove the frame assembly (2) from the logo light housing (4).
     (d) Remove the screws (3) from the logo light housing (4) and then remove the logo light housing (4).
     (e) Disconnect the electrical connector (5).
     (f) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
     (g) Remove the screw (6), the washer (7) and the bonding lead (8) from the bottom of the logo light housing (4).
   (2) For GLS LEDs-light unit-technology:
     (a) Remove the sealant around the lens assembly (1) and the spar box skin.
     (b) Remove the screws (2) from the lens assembly (1).
     (c) Remove the lens assembly (1) from the logo light housing (3).
     (d) Remove the screws (4) from the logo light housing (3) and then remove the logo light housing (3).
     (e) Disconnect the electrical connector (5).
     (f) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
     (g) Remove the screw (6) and the bonding lead (7) from the bottom of the logo light housing (3).
