Removal of the Check Valve

(1) Open the FWC cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
(3) Open the panel 131CC.

(2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002):
(5) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the safety valve to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002):
- do not connect the PTU isolation coupling
- do not close the right MLG door.
- on the panel 40VU in the cockpit
- on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(5) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the safety valve to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

A. Removal of the Check Valve 2902GM
Check Valve 2902GM on Frame 34 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(2) Disconnect the coupling nuts (2) and (4).
(3) Remove the check valve (3).
(4) Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(5) Remove the container and discard the hydraulic fluid correctly.

OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE THE CHECK VALVE AS THE HYDRAULIC FLUID WILL FLOW OUT.
(1) Loosen the two screws (1) for easy removal of the check valve 2902GM. (2) Disconnect the coupling nuts (2) and (4).
(3) Remove the check valve (3).
(4) Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(5) Remove the container and discard the hydraulic fluid correctly.
