(1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).

A. Put the Safety Valve back to the Usual Position after Operation
(2) Remove the blanking plug (1) from the bleed screw (2) of the safety valve (3).
(3) Remove and discard the lockwire from the bleed screw (2).
(4) Connect one end of the HOSE - BLEED to the bleed screw (2). Put the other end in a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) that contains the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
(5) Slowly open the bleed screw (2) to release the hydraulic fluid.
(6) When the fluid flow stops, close the bleed screw (2).
(7) Disconnect the bleed pipe and remove all the hydraulic fluid from the bleed screw (2) with the lint-free cloth.
(8) Safety the bleed screw (2) with the14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(9) Install the blanking plug (1).
Subtask 32-51-21-710-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(1) Put a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) below the safety valve (3). (2) Remove the blanking plug (1) from the bleed screw (2) of the safety valve (3).
(3) Remove and discard the lockwire from the bleed screw (2).
(4) Connect one end of the HOSE - BLEED to the bleed screw (2). Put the other end in a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) that contains the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
(5) Slowly open the bleed screw (2) to release the hydraulic fluid.
(6) When the fluid flow stops, close the bleed screw (2).
(7) Disconnect the bleed pipe and remove all the hydraulic fluid from the bleed screw (2) with the lint-free cloth.

B. Test
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Do the operational test of the landing gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-710-002).
(3) Do the functional test of the nose wheel steering (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-720-004).
(4) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the safety valve(s). Leaks are not permitted.
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Do the operational test of the landing gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-710-002).
(3) Do the functional test of the nose wheel steering (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-720-004).
(4) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the safety valve(s). Leaks are not permitted.
