WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

Subtask 32-42-47-860-050-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Ground Service Network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 811.
(3) Make sure that the access door 811 is open.
(4) Make sure that the warning notice is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the brake pedals.
Subtask 32-42-47-865-051-A (1) Make sure that the Ground Service Network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

A. Installation of the Transmitter Unit (13)
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the transmitter unit (13) on its support.
(4) Install the bolts (1), washers (10) and nuts (11).
(5) Tighten the nuts (11).
(7) Align the rods (6) with the levers (2).
(8) Install the bolts (3), washers (7) and nuts (8).
(9) Tighten the nuts (8).
(11) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(12) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(13) Connect the electrical connector (12) to the transmitter unit (13).
Subtask 32-42-47-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(4) Install the bolts (1), washers (10) and nuts (11).
(5) Tighten the nuts (11).

USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
(6) Safety the nuts (11) with the new AIPC 32-42-01-03-030 COTTER PINS (5) or AIPC 32-42-81-03-010 COTTER PINS (5). (7) Align the rods (6) with the levers (2).
(8) Install the bolts (3), washers (7) and nuts (8).
(9) Tighten the nuts (8).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
(10) Safety the nuts (8) with the new AIPC 32-42-01-06-010 COTTER PINS (9). (11) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(12) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(13) Connect the electrical connector (12) to the transmitter unit (13).
A. Installation of the Transmitter Unit (13)
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(5) Tighten the nuts (11).

(6) Safety the nuts (11) with the new AIPC 32-42-81-03-010 COTTER PINS (5). (7) Align the rods (6) with the levers (2).
(8) Install the bolts (3), washers (7) and nuts (8).
(9) Tighten the nuts (8).

(10) Safety the nuts (8) with the new AIPC 32-42-01-06-010 COTTER PINS (9). (11) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(12) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(13) Connect the electrical connectors (12) to the transmitter unit (13).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Test
(1) Do a check of the left and right brake pedals ratio Upto /Uref (%) at the MCDU after the BPTU installation:
(b) When full pedals are applied Upot/Uref must be more than 94%.
(c) If the full pedals range are not in the limits TSM 32-42-00-810-833.
(2) Do the BITE test with the system 1 and system 2 of the BSCU (Ref. AMM TASK 32-46-00-740-001).
(3) Do the operational test of the normal braking system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-710-001).
5. Close-up(1) Do a check of the left and right brake pedals ratio Upto /Uref (%) at the MCDU after the BPTU installation:
NOTE: The right pedal Upto /Uref value is shown on the left side of the BSCU TSD screen. The left pedal Upto /Uref value is shown on the right side of the BSCU TSD screen.
(a) When pedals are released Upot/Uref must be between 14.2% and 17.2% (nominal: 15.7%). (b) When full pedals are applied Upot/Uref must be more than 94%.
(c) If the full pedals range are not in the limits TSM 32-42-00-810-833.
(2) Do the BITE test with the system 1 and system 2 of the BSCU (Ref. AMM TASK 32-46-00-740-001).
(3) Do the operational test of the normal braking system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-710-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the access door 811.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
