3. Job Set-up
Subtask 32-42-22-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
   (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
   (2) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
   (3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized
   (4) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
  • in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
  • on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
   (5) Make sure that one door of the main gear is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position.
   (7) Make sure that the CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL) is in position below the location of the pressure transducer (10).

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-42-22-210-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Lubricate the new AIPC 32-42-22-01-010 PACKING (11) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
   (5) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the threads of the bolts (3).

B. Installation of the Pressure Transducer (96GG)
   (1) Remove the blanking caps from the ports of the manifold (1) and the pressure transducer (10).
   (2) Install the new packing (11) on the pressure transducer (10).
   (3) Hold the pressure transducer (10) in position on the manifold (1) and install the bolts (3) and the washers (2).
   (4) TORQUE the bolts (3) to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.
   (5) Install the clamp (7) on the pressure transducer (10).
   (6) Install the bonding strap (6) with the washer (5), the bolt (4) and the nut (8) at the clamp (7) (
Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
   (7) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (9).
   (8) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (9) Connect the electrical connector (9) to the pressure transmitter (10).
   (10) Seal the connections of the bonding strap (6) with Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) .
   (11) Apply Coating_- Flexible Structure (Material No.04QAB2) to the sealant.

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Test
   (1) Bleed the normal brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-870-001).
   (2) Do an operational check of the normal brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-710-001).
   (3) Examine the pressure transducer and the component interface for leaks. Leaks are not permitted.
5. Close-up
Subtask 32-42-22-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Close the applicable MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
