(2) In the cockpit, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the panel 400VU to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Install the safety devices on the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(2) Jacking of the Nose Landing Gear (NLG) to replace the wheel.
(a) Lift the nose gear (Ref. AMM TASK 07-12-00-582-001).
(b) Attach the ADAPTER - TIRE INFLATION/DEFLATION to the inflation valve (50).
(c) Decrease the tire pressure until the pressure gage of the ADAPTER - TIRE INFLATION/DEFLATION shows between 1.79 bar (26 psi) and 2.20 bar (32 psi).
(d) Remove the ADAPTER - TIRE INFLATION/DEFLATION.
(e) Put the cap (51) on the inflation valve (50) and tighten it.
4. Procedure(1) Install the safety devices on the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(2) Jacking of the Nose Landing Gear (NLG) to replace the wheel.
(a) Lift the nose gear (Ref. AMM TASK 07-12-00-582-001).
WARNING:
DECREASE THE TIRE PRESSURE TO APPROXIMATELY 2 BAR (29 PSI) BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE WHEEL. THIS WILL PREVENT A POSSIBLE EXPLOSION.
(3) Decrease the tire pressure as follows: NOTE: If you must remove the wheel for access or inspections, it is not necessary to deflate the tire if:
(a) Remove the cap (51) from the inflation valve (50). - The tire is in the correct condition.
- The tire pressure is in the normal operating range (Ref. AMM TASK 32-41-00-210-003).
If you do not have these two conditions, it is necessary to decrease the tire pressure.
