Jacking of the Nose Landing Gear
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE AIRCRAFT IS STABLE AND DOES NOT MOVE DURING THE JACKING OPERATIONS.
IF THERE IS UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE AIRCRAFT, THE LANDING-GEAR JACKING DOME CAN COME OFF THE JACK HEAD AND INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION:
DURING THE JACKING, MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS NO EQUIPMENT ADJACENT TO THE AIRCRAFT THAT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. General Information for Jacking
Subtask 07-12-00-210-050-A NOTE: If you deflate the 2 tires at the same time, the maximum closed height of the hydraulic jack must be 128 mm (5.04 in.). Use tool jack TMHCP07-00-00 or an equivalent.
B. Aircraft Configuration
(1) Make sure that the wheels are on the aircraft axis.
(2) Make sure that the aircraft is clear to lift.
(3) Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(4) Make sure that the parking brake is released.
(5) Make sure that the aircraft is stable before you lift the aircraft (Ref. AMM TASK 05-57-00-200-001).
(6) If you do ground operations (cargo loading/unloading, fueling/defueling, passenger boarding/disembarking) and jacking for a wheel change at the same time, you must:

(6) If you do ground operations (cargo loading/unloading, fueling/defueling, passenger boarding/disembarking) and jacking for a wheel change at the same time, you must:
- Make sure that the door sill and ground support equipment (cargo loader, passenger bridge and/or catering truck) stay aligned.
- Decrease the loading speed of the Unit Load Device (ULD) and make sure that the ULD smoothly touches the lateral stop of the Cargo Loading System (CLS).
- Make sure that the weight change is not more than 20000 kg (44092 lb).
C. Install the CHOCK - WHEEL(S) on the wheels of the main landing gears.
Subtask 07-12-00-210-051-A D. Make sure that the jack head is in the correct condition.
4. ProcedureSubtask 07-12-00-820-050-A
A. Installation of the Hydraulic Jacks
(1) Put the TMHCP07-00-00 WHEEL CHANGE AXLE JACK or equivalent JACK - WHEEL CHANGE, MAIN/NOSE LANDING GEAR so that the jack head touches the jacking dome of the shock absorber.
(2) Make sure that the wheel jack is stable and in the vertical position.
Subtask 07-12-00-210-052-A (1) Put the TMHCP07-00-00 WHEEL CHANGE AXLE JACK or equivalent JACK - WHEEL CHANGE, MAIN/NOSE LANDING GEAR so that the jack head touches the jacking dome of the shock absorber.
(2) Make sure that the wheel jack is stable and in the vertical position.
B. Make sure that this assembly is level.
Subtask 07-12-00-582-050-A C. Jacking
