A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) In the cockpit, on the right-center instrument panel (400VU):

Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate the landing-gear control lever.

(3) In the cockpit, on the steering handwheels (CAPT and F/O) and on the brake pedals, make sure that:

B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the NLG leg door-assembly is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-15-000-001).

C. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-22-15-420-052-A

A. Installation of the Link and Fitting Assemblies of the NLG Leg Door
(1) Install the fitting assembly (7) as follows:
(a) Put the fitting assembly (7) in position on the NLG leg (6).
(b) Install the bolt (8), the washer (14) and the nut (15).
(c) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 0.35 and 0.25 m.daN (30.97 and 22.12 lbf.in )

(d) Safety the nut (15) with the new AIPC 32-22-01-01-260 COTTER PIN (16) or the new AIPC 32-22-81-01-300 COTTER PIN (16).
(e) Install the bush (9), the washers (17), the bolt (10), the washer (11) and the nut (12).
(f) TORQUE the nut (12) to between 1.4 and 1.2 m.daN (123.89 and 106.19 lbf.in )

(g) Safety the nut (12) with the new AIPC 32-22-01-01-260 COTTER PIN (13) or the new AIPC 32-22-81-01-300 COTTER PIN (13).
(2) Install the link assembly (4) as follows:
(a) Put the link assembly (4) in position on the NLG leg (6).
(b) Install the bolt (5), the washer (3) and the nut (2).
(c) TORQUE the nut (2) to between 0.6 and 0.5 m.daN (53.10 and 44.25 lbf.in )

(d) Safety the nut (2) with the new AIPC 32-22-01-01-350 COTTER PIN (1) or the new AIPC 32-22-81-01-300 COTTER PIN (1).

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the NLG leg door-assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-15-400-001).

B. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
