Removal of the NLG Leg Door-Assembly
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR ARE CLEAR.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTROLS AGREE WITH THE POSITION OF THE ITEMS THEY OPERATE BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF HYDRAULICALLY OPERATED ITEMS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
CAUTION:
THIS PART IS A REMOVABLE STRUCTURAL COMPONENT (RSC), WHICH CAN BE MOVED BETWEEN AIRCRAFT. THUS IT CAN HAVE DIFFERENT OPERATION CONDITIONS AND A DIFFERENT LIFE RECORD (FLIGHT HOURS/FLIGHT CYCLES/CALENDAR) FROM THE AIRCRAFT IT IS INSTALLED ON OR REMOVED FROM. THE OPERATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SPECIFIC TRACKING AND CONTINUED AIRWORTHINESS OF REMOVABLE STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS. INCORRECT MAINTENANCE OF THESE COMPONENTS CAN CAUSE A RISK FOR THE FLIGHT SAFETY.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) In the cockpit, on the right-center instrument panel (400VU), put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
(2) In the cockpit, on the steering handwheels (CAPT and F/O) and on the brake pedals, put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate them.
(3) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
4. Procedure(1) In the cockpit, on the right-center instrument panel (400VU), put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
(2) In the cockpit, on the steering handwheels (CAPT and F/O) and on the brake pedals, put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate them.
(3) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

A. Removal of the Leg Door from its Attachments
(1) Remove the nut (4) and the bolt (2).
(2) Disconnect the rod end of the link assembly (1) from the leg door (5).
(3) Remove the two bushes (3) from the leg door (5).
(4) Disconnect the rod (11) from the leg door (5).
(5) Hold the leg door (5) and remove the nuts (6) and the bolts (7).
(6) Remove the bushes (8) and (10).
(7) Disconnect the leg door (5) from the fitting assembly (9).
(8) Remove the leg door (5).
(1) Remove the nut (4) and the bolt (2).
(2) Disconnect the rod end of the link assembly (1) from the leg door (5).
(3) Remove the two bushes (3) from the leg door (5).
(4) Disconnect the rod (11) from the leg door (5).
(5) Hold the leg door (5) and remove the nuts (6) and the bolts (7).
(6) Remove the bushes (8) and (10).
(7) Disconnect the leg door (5) from the fitting assembly (9).
(8) Remove the leg door (5).
