A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the D23080000 PIN-GROUND LOCK,NLG, or the MZ23080000 PIN-LOCKING as an alternative, is in position.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Remove the center hinge pin (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-27-000-002).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the center hinge pin (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-27-000-002).
Subtask 32-21-00-220-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Detailed Inspection of the Torque-Link Center Hinge-Pin
(1) If the center hinge pin is bent, replace it (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-27-400-002).
(2) If the center hinge pin is not bent:
(a) Very carefully examine the threads and the splines of the pin for damage.
(b) If you find cracks, replace the center hinge pin (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-27-400-002).
5. Close-up(1) If the center hinge pin is bent, replace it (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-27-400-002).
(2) If the center hinge pin is not bent:
(a) Very carefully examine the threads and the splines of the pin for damage.
(b) If you find cracks, replace the center hinge pin (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-27-400-002).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Install the center hinge pin (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-27-400-002).
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
