A. Safety Precautions
(1) Prevent the damage to the anti-ice heat elements (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001)
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the flight compartment to tell persons not to operate the landing gear doors in case not properly secured the door levers.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 734 for the left hand main landing gear door and/or zone 744 for the right hand main landing gear door.

B. Depressurize Hydraulic Systems

Subtask 32-12-11-020-051-A

A. Replacement of the Tip Sealing Strip
(1) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (6) and the screws (7) from the U section (2) and the section (3).
(2) Remove the U section (2) and the section (3).
(3) Remove and discard the tip seal (4).
(4) Position the new AIPC 52-81-14-06-290 TIP SEAL (4) or AIPC 52-81-84-06-320 TIP SEAL (4) on the door tip (1).
(5) Install the new tip seal (4), the U section (2) and the section (3) with the screws (7), the washers (6) and the nuts (5).

Subtask 32-12-11-020-052-B

B. Replacement of the Hinge Sealing Strip
(1) Remove the nuts (14) the washers (13) and the screws (9) from the U sections (12) and (20).
(2) Remove the U sections (12) and (20).
(3) Remove and discard the sealing strips (11) and (21).
(4) Position the new AIPC 52-81-14-06-140 STRIP SEALING (11) or AIPC 52-81-84-06-190 STRIP SEALING (11) and AIPC 52-81-14-06-130 STRIP SEALING (21) or AIPC 52-81-84-06-170 STRIP SEALING (21) on the door (10).
(5) Install the new sealing strips (11) and (21) and the U sections (12) and (20) with the screws (9), the washers (13) and the nuts (14).
(6) Remove the nuts (14), the washers (13) and the screws (9) from the U sections (15), (16), (17), (18) and (19).
(7) Remove the U sections (15), (16), (17), (18) and (19).
(8) Remove and discard the sealing strip (8).
(9) Position the new AIPC 52-81-14-06-220 STRIP SEALING (8) or AIPC 52-81-84-06-280 STRIP SEALING (8) on the door (10).
(10) Install the new sealing strip (8) and the U sections (15), (16), (17), (18) and (19) with the screws (9), the washers (13) and the nuts (14).
