(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Safety precautions

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY THE SAFETY CONDITIONS FOR OPENING OF THE FWD CARGO DOOR.

(a) Before you open the FWD cargo door, make sure that the

(3) On the circuit breaker panel 2000VU, put the MAIN BUS switch to the ON position.

4. Procedure

A. Do this test:

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the control panel of the FWD cargo compartment: Turn the selector to the OPEN position and hold it.	In the Yellow hydraulic bay: The Yellow electronic pump starts. On the cargo door area: The cargo door starts to open.
2.On the C/B panel 121VU: Close the C/B 3XX.	In the Yellow hydraulic bay: The Yellow electric pump stops. On the cargo door area: The cargo door movement stops. NOTE: The closing of the C/B 3XX energizes the relay 7XX and thus stops the power supply from the contactor 3806GG.
3.On the C/B panel 121VU: Open the C/B 3XX.	In the Yellow hydraulic bay: The Yellow electric pump starts to operate again. On the cargo door area: The cargo door re-starts to move.
4.On the control panel of the FWD cargo compartment: Release the selector and turn it to the CLOSE position and hold it until the cargo door is closed.	On the cargo door area: The cargo door is closed The Yellow electric pump stops.

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Make sure that the FWD cargo compartment door is correctly closed and locked (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical network (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
