A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the flaps and slats are in the fully retracted position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized.
(3) Make sure that the printer is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 31-35-22-000-001).
Subtask 27-51-17-865-051-A (1) Make sure that the flaps and slats are in the fully retracted position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized.
(3) Make sure that the printer is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 31-35-22-000-001).

A. Installation of the Command Sensor Unit (CSU)
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the control lever (9) on the CSU (5).
(a) Make sure that the mark on the gear of the CSU (5) aligns with the fixed mark. Correctly engage the gear in the control lever (9).
(4) Install the washers (4) and the screws (3), and tighten them.
(5) Safety the screws with lockwire:
(6) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(8) Connect the electrical connectors (7) and (6) to the CSU (5).
(9) Connect the electrical connector (8) to the control lever (9).
(10) Install the control lever (9) on its support.
(11) Install the washers (2) and the screws (1), and tighten them.
Subtask 27-51-17-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(a) Safety the screws (3) with corrosion-resistant steel lockwire 0.5 mm (0.020 in.) dia.. (6) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(8) Connect the electrical connectors (7) and (6) to the CSU (5).
(9) Connect the electrical connector (8) to the control lever (9).
(10) Install the control lever (9) on its support.
(11) Install the washers (2) and the screws (1), and tighten them.

(8) Connect the electrical connectors (7) and (6) to the CSU (5).
(9) Connect the electrical connector (8) to the control lever (9).
(10) Install the control lever (9) on its support.
(11) Install the washers (2) and the screws (1), and tighten them.
B. Visual Inspection of the Electrical Harnesses
(1) Make sure that the electrical harnesses of the CSU do not touch FLAPS control panel 114VU.

D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Do the operational test of the flap and slat system (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-00-710-002)
