A. Installation of the F/O pedals
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Apply Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) on the attachment hardware.
(4) Install the pedal assembly between the structure (107) through the avionics compartment.
(a) Make sure that the rods (66), (67), (71) and (90) are correctly installed in their bellcranks (60), (88), (72) and (91).
(5) Install the bushes (105), the bolts (106) and the new AIPC 27-21-01-06-010 NUTS (108).
(6) Install the bolt (95), washer (92), nut (93) and the new AIPC 27-21-01-01-010 COTTER PIN (94) (refer to Detail C).
(7) Install the bolt (64), washer (63), nut (62) and the new AIPC 32-42-01-04-010 COTTER PIN (61) (refer to Detail D).
(8) Install the bolt (65), the washer (87), the nut (86) and the new AIPC 32-42-01-04-010 COTTER PIN (89) (refer to Detail D).
(9) Install the bolt (73), washer (70), nut (69) and the new AIPC 27-21-01-01-010 COTTER PIN (68) (refer to Detail E).
(10) Install the bolt (55), washer (54), bonding strip (53), nut (52) and the new AIPC 27-21-01-03-010 COTTER PIN (51) (refer to Detail B).
(11) Install the bolt (104) on the post (72) with the bush (103) and the pedal (74).
(12) Install the washer (101) and the nut (100).
(13) Install the bolt (113) on the post (91) with the bush (112) and the pedal (85).
(14) Install the washer (110) and the nut (109).
(15) Safety the nuts (100) and (109) with lockwire corrosion resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.03 in.).
(16) Connect the rod (78) to the pedal (74) with the bolt (79) (refer to Detail G).
(17) Install the washer (75), the nut (76) and the new AIPC 32-42-01-04-010 COTTER PIN (77).
(18) Connect the rod (80) to the pedal (85) with the bolt (81) (refer to Detail H).
(19) Install the washer (84), the nut (83) and the new AIPC 32-42-01-04-010 COTTER PIN (82).

(9) Install the bolt (73), washer (70), nut (69) and the new AIPC 27-21-01-01-010 COTTER PIN (68) (refer to Detail E).

(11) Install the bolt (104) on the post (72) with the bush (103) and the pedal (74).

(18) Connect the rod (80) to the pedal (85) with the bolt (81) (refer to Detail H).

(18) Connect the rod (80) to the pedal (85) with the bolt (81) (refer to Detail H).
(19) Install the washer (84), the nut (83) and the new AIPC 32-42-01-04-010 COTTER PIN (82) or the AIPC 32-42-81-04-010 COTTER PIN (82).
Subtask 27-21-42-710-052-A (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(4) Install the pedal assembly between the structure (107) through the avionics compartment.

(10) Install the bolt (55), washer (54), the bonding strip (53), nut (52) and the new AIPC 27-21-01-03-161 COTTER PIN (51) or the AIPC 27-21-81-03-120 COTTER PIN (51) (refer to Detail B).
(11) Install the bolt (104) on the post (72) with the bush (103) and the pedal (74).
(12) Install the washer (101) and the nut (100).
(13) Install the bolt (113) on the post (91) with the bush (112) and the pedal (85).
(14) Install the washer (110) and the nut (109).
(15) Safety the nuts (100) and (109) with lockwire corrosion resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.03 in.).
(16) Connect the rod (78) to the pedal (74) with the bolt (79) (refer to Detail G).
(17) Install the washer (75), the nut (76) and the new AIPC 32-42-01-04-010 COTTER PIN (77) or the AIPC 32-42-81-04-010 COTTER PIN (77).
(18) Connect the rod (80) to the pedal (85) with the bolt (81) (refer to Detail H).
(19) Install the washer (84), the nut (83) and the new AIPC 32-42-01-04-010 COTTER PIN (82) or the AIPC 32-42-81-04-010 COTTER PIN (82).
B. Test
(1) Preparation for the Test
(a) Install the pedal position adjuster assembly (Ref. AMM D/O 27-21-43-40).
(b) Install the brake pedal transmitter unit (9GG) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-47-400-001).
(c) Install the brake control master cylinders (2625GM and 2626GM) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-12-400-001).
(2) Do the operational test of the F/O pedals (Ref. AMM TASK 27-24-00-710-001).
Subtask 27-21-42-710-052-B (1) Preparation for the Test
(a) Install the pedal position adjuster assembly (Ref. AMM D/O 27-21-43-40).
(b) Install the brake pedal transmitter unit (9GG) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-47-400-001).
(c) Install the brake control master cylinders (2625GM and 2626GM) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-12-400-001).
(2) Do the operational test of the F/O pedals (Ref. AMM TASK 27-24-00-710-001).
