(1) Remove the screws (6).
(2) Carefully remove the fire extinguisher bottle (3) and the washers (5) from the waste-bin housing.
(3) If necessary, remove the nut-clips (4) from the fire extinguisher bottle (3).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Get Access
(1) For the location of this component refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 26-25-00-00).
(2) Get access to the related lavatory.
(3) Open the service door (1).
(4) Remove the waste bin (2).
(5) Remove the screws (10), the washers (9), the lanyard (7) and the cover (8).

(2) Get access to the related lavatory.
(3) Open the service door (1).
(4) Remove the waste bin (2).
(5) Remove the screws (10), the washers (9), the lanyard (7) and the cover (8).

CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT BEND THE DISCHARGE TUBE(S) WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE JOINT BETWEEN THE DISCHARGE TUBE AND THE CONTAINER.
A. Removal of the Fire Extinguisher Bottle (1) Remove the screws (6).
(2) Carefully remove the fire extinguisher bottle (3) and the washers (5) from the waste-bin housing.
(3) If necessary, remove the nut-clips (4) from the fire extinguisher bottle (3).
