C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.
   (1) Put on and attach a safety harness before you start work in the work area
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below maintenance door 314AR.
   (3) Make sure that access door 314AR is open and safetied in the open position.
(Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-23-010-801).
   (4) Make sure that the light switch is set to on.
4. Procedure
Subtask 26-22-41-420-058-A
A. Installation of the APU Fire-Extinguisher Discharge-Outlet (4015WM) and Tubing for Meggitt Assembly
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Installation of the discharge outlet.
     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Install a new AIPC 26-22-04-01-016 PACKING (9) on the discharge outlet (7).
     (c) Install the discharge outlet (7) in the fire-extinguisher bottle outlet (10).
     (d) Do not fully tighten the discharge outlet (7) at this step.
   (5) Installation of the spray tubing.
     (a) Install the new
AIPC 26-22-04-02-050 O-RINGS (3) and the ring-retainings (2) on the spray tubing (6) and on the discharge outlet (7).
     (b) Make sure that the O-ring (3) is correctly installed in the groove of the discharge outlet (7).
     (c) Loosely install the bushing (4).
     (d) Put the spray tubing (6) in position and loosely install the nuts (1).
     (e) Adjust the spray tubing (6) and the discharge outlet (7) to each other.
     (f) Install the clamp (5).
     (g) Make sure that the spray tubing (6) is aligned with the discharge outlet (7).
     (h) Tighten the nuts (1).
     (i) Safety the nuts (1) with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (6) TORQUE the swivel nut (8) to between 7.5 and 6.1 m.daN (55.31 and 44.99 lbf.ft )

   (7) Safety the swivel nut (8) with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (8) Install the fire extinguisher cartridge (

B. Installation of the APU Fire-Extinguisher Discharge-Outlet (4015WM) and Tubing for Kidde Assembly
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Installation of the discharge outlet.
     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Install the discharge outlet (7) in the fire-extinguisher bottle outlet (9).
     (c) Do not fully tighten the discharge outlet (7) at this step.
   (5) Installation of the spray tubing.
     (a) Install the new AIPC 26-22-04-02-050 O-RINGS (3) and the ring-retainings (2) on the spray tubing (6) and on the discharge outlet (7).
     (b) Make sure that the O-ring (3) is correctly installed in the groove of the discharge outlet (7).
     (c) Loosely install the bushing (4).
     (d) Put the spray tubing (6) in position and loosely install the nuts (1).
     (e) Adjust the spray tubing (6) and the discharge outlet (7) to each other.
     (f) Install the clamp (5).
     (g) Make sure that the spray tubing (6) is aligned with the discharge outlet (7).
     (h) Tighten the nuts (1).
     (i) Safety the nuts (1) with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (6) TORQUE the swivel nut (8) to between 4.0 and 3.4 m.daN (29.50 and 25.07 lbf.ft )

   (7) Safety the swivel nut (8) with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (8) Install the fire extinguisher cartridge (
