A. Weight Check of the Engine Fire-Extinguisher Bottle
(1) Remove the 30840002 PROTECTIVE CAP (Supplied by bottle vendor).
(3) Set the SCALE 10 KG (22 LB) to zero accuracy 0.005 kg (0.01 lb).
(4) Put the bottle on the cradle.
(5) Weigh the bottle and record the weight to the nearest 0.001 kg (0.0022 lb).
(6) The weight of the bottle must be the same as the weight specified on the bottle identification plate, minus 0.05 kg (0.1 lb) maximum.
(7) Install the 30840002 PROTECTIVE CAP (supplied by bottle vendor).
Subtask 26-21-41-280-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the 30840002 PROTECTIVE CAP (Supplied by bottle vendor).
NOTE: The weight specified on the bottle does not include the weight of the discharge head, cartridge and protective caps.
(2) Put the 83000007 CRADLE-FIRE EXTINGUISHER BOTTLE on the SCALE 10 KG (22 LB) accuracy 0.005 kg (0.01 lb). (3) Set the SCALE 10 KG (22 LB) to zero accuracy 0.005 kg (0.01 lb).
(4) Put the bottle on the cradle.
(5) Weigh the bottle and record the weight to the nearest 0.001 kg (0.0022 lb).
(6) The weight of the bottle must be the same as the weight specified on the bottle identification plate, minus 0.05 kg (0.1 lb) maximum.
(7) Install the 30840002 PROTECTIVE CAP (supplied by bottle vendor).

(3) Weigh the bottle and record the weight to the nearest 0.005 kg (0.01 lb).
(5) The weight of the bottle must be the same as the weight specified on the bottle identification plate, minus 0.05 kg (0.11 lb) maximum.
Subtask 26-21-41-280-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Set the SCALE 10 KG (22 LB) accuracy 0.005 kg (0.01 lb) to zero.
(2) Put the bottle on the scale.
(3) Weigh the bottle and record the weight to the nearest 0.005 kg (0.01 lb).
NOTE: The TOTAL WT specified on the bottle identification plate does not include the weight of the discharge head and cartridge.
(4) Compare the weight recorded in step (3) with the last weight written on the identification plate. (5) The weight of the bottle must be the same as the weight specified on the bottle identification plate, minus 0.05 kg (0.11 lb) maximum.

(1) Put the 83000373 CRADLE PART on the SCALE 10 KG (22 LB) accuracy 0.005 kg (0.01 lb).
(2) Set the SCALE 10 KG (22 LB) accuracy 0.005 kg (0.01 lb) to zero.
(3) Put the bottle on the cradle.
(4) Remove the vendor CAP - PROTECTION.
(6) For fire extinguisher bottle P/N 33600105-2:

(8) The weight of the bottle must be the same as the weight given on the bottle identification plate (the tolerances are minus 0.05 kg (0.11 lb) and plus 0.015 kg (0.03 lb)).
(9) Install the vendor CAP - PROTECTION.
5. Close-up(1) Put the 83000373 CRADLE PART on the SCALE 10 KG (22 LB) accuracy 0.005 kg (0.01 lb).
(2) Set the SCALE 10 KG (22 LB) accuracy 0.005 kg (0.01 lb) to zero.
(3) Put the bottle on the cradle.
(4) Remove the vendor CAP - PROTECTION.
NOTE: The weight given on the bottle does not include the weight of the discharge head, cartridge and protective caps.
(5) Weigh the bottle and record the weight to the nearest 0.005 kg (0.01 lb). (6) For fire extinguisher bottle P/N 33600105-2:
- Make sure that the bottle weight is between 5.56 kg (12.26 lb) and 5.87 kg (12.94 lb).
(7) For fire extinguisher bottle P/N 33600105-4:
- Make sure that the bottle weight is between 4.65 kg (10.25 lb) and 4.97 kg (10.96 lb).
(8) The weight of the bottle must be the same as the weight given on the bottle identification plate (the tolerances are minus 0.05 kg (0.11 lb) and plus 0.015 kg (0.03 lb)).
(9) Install the vendor CAP - PROTECTION.
