A. Removal of the AIM
(2) Remove the screw (8) and the wire lanyard (7) from the aircraft structure (2).
(3) Remove the screws (5) and carefully pull the AIM (4) out of the ELT (1).
(4) Remove and keep the O-ring seal (3).
CAUTION:
PULL THE TOGGLE SWITCH BEFORE YOU SET IT TO THE "ON", "OFF" OR "ARMED" POSITION. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EMERGENCY LOCATOR TRANSMITTER.
(1) Set the toggle switch (9) to the OFF position. (2) Remove the screw (8) and the wire lanyard (7) from the aircraft structure (2).
(3) Remove the screws (5) and carefully pull the AIM (4) out of the ELT (1).
(4) Remove and keep the O-ring seal (3).
