A. Visual Inspection
(1) Make sure that the pressure gage (2) shows the correct pressure.
1 Let temperature conditions become stable and then examine the pressure again.
2 If the pressure gage (2) continues to show an indication in AREA B:
a Stop the operation of the applicable door.
b Refer to the associated MMEL item.
c Make an entry in the logbook.
Subtask 25-62-00-210-063-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the pressure gage (2) shows the correct pressure.
NOTE: There are two different types of pressure gages (2) (MODEL A and MODEL B).
MODEL A has a green cursor that is sensitive to temperature.
MODEL B has a needle with an internal mechanism that is sensitive to temperature.
The two models can give temporary low pressure indications when there are sudden temperature changes from a cold to a warm environment. This usually occurs after a longer flight and when the aircraft door is opened in a warm environment. The cursor/needle moves to changes in temperature faster than the gas pressure can adapt to this change in the inflation reservoir.
(a) The indications for MODEL A are as follows: MODEL A has a green cursor that is sensitive to temperature.
- The needle in AREA A (green cursor width) shows that the pressure level is correct.
- The needle in AREA B, which is half the range of AREA A, shows a pressure level that is permitted if sudden temperature changes occurred in the last 60 minutes.
- The GREEN BAND shows a correct pressure level.
- AREA B, which is a range equal to AREA A, shows a pressure level that is permitted if sudden temperature changes occurred in the last 60 minutes.
- Use a MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE to see the pressure gage (2) on the left inflation reservoir (1).
1 Let temperature conditions become stable and then examine the pressure again.
2 If the pressure gage (2) continues to show an indication in AREA B:
a Stop the operation of the applicable door.
b Refer to the associated MMEL item.
c Make an entry in the logbook.
A. Visual Inspection
(1) Make sure that the pressure gage (4) shows the correct pressure.
1 Let temperature conditions become stable and then examine the pressure again.
2 If the pressure gage (4) continues to show an indication in AREA B:
a Stop the operation of the applicable door.
b Refer to the associated MMEL item.
c Make an entry in the logbook.

(1) Make sure that the pressure gage (3) shows the correct pressure.
(a) Let temperature conditions become stable and then examine the pressure again.
(b) If the pressure gage (3) continues to show an indication in AREA B:
1 Stop the operation of the applicable door.

5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the pressure gage (3) shows the correct pressure.
NOTE: The pressure gage (3) has a needle with an internal mechanism that is sensitive to temperature. It can give incorrect pressure indications when there are sudden temperature changes from a cold to a warm environment. This usually occurs after a longer flight and when the aircraft door is opened in a warm environment. The needle moves to changes in temperature faster than the gas pressure can adapt to this change in the inflation reservoir.
