Subtask 25-52-44-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo-compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the warning notice is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.
(4) For the aft cargo compartment, make sure that the applicable floor panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001).
Subtask 25-52-44-865-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo-compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the warning notice is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.
(4) For the aft cargo compartment, make sure that the applicable floor panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001).

Subtask 25-52-44-910-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. (1) Remove the sealant from the YZ-latch and the structure with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC.
(2) Clean the contact surface of the YZ-latch and the structure.
(3) Apply Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the spindle(s) (7).
(4) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the threads of the bolts (1) and (19).
Subtask 25-52-44-420-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (2) Clean the contact surface of the YZ-latch and the structure.
(3) Apply Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the spindle(s) (7).
(4) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the threads of the bolts (1) and (19).
B. Installation of the YZ-Latch and the Continuous Side Guide
(1) Install the fixed YZ-latch with the transport roller
(a) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) on the mating surface of the YZ-latches.
(b) Put the YZ-latch (8) in position on the structure (3).
(c) In the aft cargo compartment install the bolts (1) and the nuts (4) in the YZ-latch (8).
(d) In the forward cargo compartment install the bolts (1) in the YZ-latch (8).
(e) Put the transport roller (5) in the YZ-latch (8) and align the holes.
(f) Put the spindle (7) in the YZ-latch (8) and the transport roller (5).
(g) Put the new AIPC 25-52-02-15-100 COTTER PIN (6) or the new AIPC 25-52-82-05-080 COTTER PIN (6) or the new AIPC 25-52-02-15-120 COTTER PIN (6) and the new AIPC 25-52-04-15-076 COTTER PIN (6) or the new AIPC 25-52-84-05-020 COTTER PIN (6) or the new AIPC 25-52-04-15-110 COTTER PIN (6) in the YZ-latch (8).
(2) Install the fixed YZ-latch
(a) Put the YZ-latch (2) in position on the structure (3).
(b) In the aft cargo compartment install the bolts (1) and the nuts (4) in the YZ-latch (2).
(c) In the forward cargo compartment install the bolts (1) in the YZ-latch (2).
(d) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(e) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
(f) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) to the material applied to the fasteners and the connection elements (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(g) Install the floor panels in the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-400-001).
(3) Install the continuous side guide
(b) Put the new AIPC 25-52-02-16-020 COTTER PINS (15) or AIPC 25-52-82-01-280 COTTER PINS (15) in the connecting pin (16) and safety.
(d) Put the connecting pin (16) in the YZ-guide rail (20) and the YZ-latch (8).
(e) Put the new AIPC 25-52-02-16-020 COTTER PINS (15) or AIPC 25-52-82-01-280 COTTER PINS (15) and AIPC 25-52-04-16-020 COTTER PIN (15) or AIPC 25-52-84-01-310 COTTER PIN (15) in the connecting pin (16) and safety.
(f) Install the bolts (19) with the nuts (18) in the entrance guide (21).
(g) Put the connecting pin (16) in the YZ-guide rail (20) and the YZ-latch (8).
(h) Put the new AIPC 25-52-02-16-020 COTTER PINS (15) or AIPC 25-52-82-01-280 COTTER PINS (15) and AIPC 25-52-04-16-020 COTTER PIN (15) or AIPC 25-52-84-01-310 COTTER PIN (15) in the connecting pin (16) and safety.
(i) Install the bolts (19) with the nuts (18) in the entrance guide (21).
(j) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
(k) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) to the material applied to the fasteners and the connection elements (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
5. Close-up(1) Install the fixed YZ-latch with the transport roller
(a) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) on the mating surface of the YZ-latches.
(b) Put the YZ-latch (8) in position on the structure (3).
(c) In the aft cargo compartment install the bolts (1) and the nuts (4) in the YZ-latch (8).
(d) In the forward cargo compartment install the bolts (1) in the YZ-latch (8).
(e) Put the transport roller (5) in the YZ-latch (8) and align the holes.
(f) Put the spindle (7) in the YZ-latch (8) and the transport roller (5).
(g) Put the new AIPC 25-52-02-15-100 COTTER PIN (6) or the new AIPC 25-52-82-05-080 COTTER PIN (6) or the new AIPC 25-52-02-15-120 COTTER PIN (6) and the new AIPC 25-52-04-15-076 COTTER PIN (6) or the new AIPC 25-52-84-05-020 COTTER PIN (6) or the new AIPC 25-52-04-15-110 COTTER PIN (6) in the YZ-latch (8).
(2) Install the fixed YZ-latch
(a) Put the YZ-latch (2) in position on the structure (3).
(b) In the aft cargo compartment install the bolts (1) and the nuts (4) in the YZ-latch (2).
(c) In the forward cargo compartment install the bolts (1) in the YZ-latch (2).
(d) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(e) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
(f) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) to the material applied to the fasteners and the connection elements (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(g) Install the floor panels in the aft cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-400-001).
(3) Install the continuous side guide
NOTE: For the YZ-guide rails between the YZ-latches.
(a) Put the connecting pins (16) in the YZ-guide rail (17) and the YZ-latches (8) and (2). (b) Put the new AIPC 25-52-02-16-020 COTTER PINS (15) or AIPC 25-52-82-01-280 COTTER PINS (15) in the connecting pin (16) and safety.
NOTE: For the YZ-guide rail between the fixed YZ-latch and the entrance guide.
(c) Put the YZ-guide rail (20) in its installation position between the YZ-latch (8) and the entrance guide (21). (d) Put the connecting pin (16) in the YZ-guide rail (20) and the YZ-latch (8).
(e) Put the new AIPC 25-52-02-16-020 COTTER PINS (15) or AIPC 25-52-82-01-280 COTTER PINS (15) and AIPC 25-52-04-16-020 COTTER PIN (15) or AIPC 25-52-84-01-310 COTTER PIN (15) in the connecting pin (16) and safety.
(f) Install the bolts (19) with the nuts (18) in the entrance guide (21).
(g) Put the connecting pin (16) in the YZ-guide rail (20) and the YZ-latch (8).
(h) Put the new AIPC 25-52-02-16-020 COTTER PINS (15) or AIPC 25-52-82-01-280 COTTER PINS (15) and AIPC 25-52-04-16-020 COTTER PIN (15) or AIPC 25-52-84-01-310 COTTER PIN (15) in the connecting pin (16) and safety.
(i) Install the bolts (19) with the nuts (18) in the entrance guide (21).
(j) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
(k) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) to the material applied to the fasteners and the connection elements (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).

C. Close Access
(1) For the aft cargo compartment install the applicable floor panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-400-001).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(1) For the aft cargo compartment install the applicable floor panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-400-001).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
