A. Get Access
(1) Open the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s).
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the control panel of the cargo loading system to tell persons not to use it.

C. Get Access
(1) Remove the ball mats and ball strips (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-000-001).
(2) Remove the protective cover from the manual mechanism of the manual sill latch lever (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-51-000-001).
(3) Remove the limit switches 2507MJ (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-000-003) and 2508MJ (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-52-41-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Door Sill Latch

Door Sill Latch - Forward Cargo Compartment ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

Door Sill Latch - Aft Cargo Compartment ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the receptacle.
(2) Put the CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connector (1) and on the receptacle.
(3) Lower the overridable Y-latch (8) with the manual DOOR SILL LATCH lever.
(4) Remove the Bolt-Retainings (3) from the drawbars (5),(4).
(5) Lift the overridable Y-latch (8) with the manual DOOR SILL LATCH lever.
(6) Remove the Bolt-Retainings (3) from the drawbars (11),(12).
(7) Remove the screws (2).

NOTE: Write down the screw lengths and positions, as they are different from latch to latch.

(8) Lift and remove the door sill latch (9) from the door sill structure (7).
(9) Remove the plate (6).
