Subtask 25-52-34-860-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the aft cargo-compartment door.
   (3) Make sure that the applicable ACT is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001).
   (4) Make sure that the related floor panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001).
Subtask 25-52-34-860-058-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the forward or aft cargo compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the forward or aft cargo compartment door.
   (3) Make sure that the applicable ACT is removed (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
4. Procedure
Subtask 25-52-34-910-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Remove the unwanted sealant from the fixed XZ-latch and the structure with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC.
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the thread of all the bolts and the screws.
Subtask 25-52-34-420-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of the Fixed XZ-Latch for the ACT
   (1) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the mating surface of the fixed XZ-latch (2).
   (2) Put the fixed XZ-latch (2) in position on the roller track (3).
   (3) Put the spindles (4) in the roller track (3) and the fixed XZ-latch (2).
   (4) Safety the spindle with the new AIPC 25-52-46-04-080 COTTER PINS (1).
   (5) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.
12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
   (6) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) to the material applied to the fasteners and the connection elements (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
Subtask 25-52-34-710-059-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Adjustment Procedure
F Adjustment of Fixed XZ-Latch ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
For the ACT1
   (1) Make sure that the distance between the FR47.2 and the end stop is 19.8 mm (0.7795 in.).
   (2) If necessary adjust the measurement with the adjustment screw in the end stop.
   (3) Turn the adjustment screw to change the measurement as necessary.
NOTE: Use a template which has the measurements of an ACT base plate for the adjustment procedure of the ACT1 and ACT2.
   (4) Remove the latch pawl of each XZ-latch if installed at FR47.5.
   (5) Put the template in the ACT1 installation position and install the latch pawl of each fixed XZ-latch at FR47.5.
   (6) Make sure that the distance between the end stops and the fixed XZ-latches at FR47.5 is 1540.3 mm (60.6418 in.).
   (7) If an adjustment is necessary, loosen the screws in the latch pawl of the XZ-latches.
NOTE: The fixed XZ-latches have adapter plates ("A" and "B") which adjust the measurement. The adapter plates are parts of a set. Each adapter plate has a different size and are installed according to the measurement.
   (8) Change the adapter plates on the fixed XZ-latches to change the measurement as necessary.
   (9) When the necessary adjustment has been made remove the latch pawl of the fixed XZ-latches.
   (10) Remove the template from the ACT1 position.
   (11) Install the latch pawl of each fixed XZ-latch again at FR47.5.
For the ACT2
   (12) Remove the latch pawl of each XZ-latch if installed at FR50.
   (13) Put the template in the ACT2 installation position and install the latch pawl of each fixed XZ-latch at FR50.
   (14) Make sure that the distance between the fixed XZ-latches at the FR47.5 and FR50 is 1540.3 mm (60.6418 in.).
   (15) If an adjustment is necessary, loosen the screws in the latch pawl of the fixed XZ-latches.
NOTE: The fixed XZ-latches have adapter plates ("A" and "B") which adjust the measurement. The adapter plates are parts of a set. Each adapter plate has a different size and are installed according to the measurement.
   (16) Change the adapter plates on the fixed XZ-latches to change the measurement as necessary.
   (17) When the necessary adjustment has been made remove the latch pawl of the fixed XZ-latches and the template.
   (18) Install the latch pawl of each fixed XZ-latch at FR50.
   (19) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
Subtask 25-52-34-710-059-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Adjustment Procedure
F Adjustment of Fixed XZ-Latch ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) For ACT1:
     (a) Make sure that the distance between FR47.2 and the end stop is 19.8 mm (0.7795 in.).
     (b) If necessary, adjust the distance with the adjustment screw in the end stop.
     (c) Turn the adjustment screw to change the distance as necessary.
NOTE: Use a template which has the dimensions of an ACT bottom plate for the adjustment procedure of ACT1, ACT2 and ACT4.1.
     (d) If installed, remove the latch pawl of each XZ-latch at FR47.5.
     (e) Put the template in ACT1 installation position and install the latch pawl of each fixed XZ-latch at FR47.5.
     (f) Make sure that the distance between the end stops and the fixed XZ-latches at FR47.5 is 1540.3 mm (60.6418 in.).
     (g) If an adjustment is necessary, loosen the screws in the latch pawl of the XZ-latches.
NOTE: The fixed XZ-latches have adapter plates ("A" and "B") which adjust the measurement. The adapter plates are part of a set. Each adapter plate has a different dimension and is installed related to the measurement.
     (h) Change the adapter plates on the fixed XZ-latches to change the measurement as necessary.
     (i) When the necessary adjustment is made, remove the latch pawl of the fixed XZ-latches.
     (j) Remove the template from the ACT1 position.
     (k) Install the latch pawl of each fixed XZ-latch again at FR47.5.
   (2) For ACT2:
     (a) If installed, remove the latch pawl of each XZ-latch at FR50.
     (b) Put the template in ACT2 installation position and install the latch pawl of each fixed XZ-latch at FR50.
     (c) Make sure that the distance between the fixed XZ-latches at the FR47.5 and FR50 is 1540.3 mm (60.6418 in.).
     (d) If an adjustment is necessary, loosen the screws in the latch pawl of the fixed XZ-latches.
NOTE: The fixed XZ-latches have adapter plates ("A" and "B") which adjust the measurement. The adapter plates are part of a set. Each adapter plate has a different size and is installed related to the measurement.
     (e) Change the adapter plates on the fixed XZ-latches to change the measurement as necessary.
     (f) When the necessary adjustment is made, remove the latch pawl of the fixed XZ-latches and the template.
     (g) Install the latch pawl of each fixed XZ-latch at FR50.
     (h) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
   (3) For ACT4.1:
     (a) Remove the latch pawl of each XZ-latch at FR35.1.
     (b) Put the template in ACT4.1 installation position and install the latch pawl of each fixed XZ-latch at FR35.1.
     (c) Make sure that the distance between the XZ-latch and the end stop is 1540.3 mm (60.6418 in.).
     (d) If an adjustment is necessary, loosen the screws in the latch pawl of the fixed XZ-latches.
NOTE: The fixed XZ-latches have adapter plates ("A" and "B") which adjust the measurement. The adapter plates are part of a set. Each adapter plate has a different dimension and is installed related to the measurement.
     (e) Change the adapter plates on the fixed XZ-latches to change the measurement as necessary.
     (f) When the necessary adjustment is made, remove the latch pawl of the fixed XZ-latches and the template.
     (g) Install the latch pawl of each fixed XZ-latch at FR35.1.
     (h) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all others connection elements.
5. Close-up
Subtask 25-52-34-410-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) If removed, install the floor panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-400-001).
   (3) Install the applicable ACT (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
   (5) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
Subtask 25-52-34-410-054-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the applicable Additional Center Tank (ACT) (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40).
   (3) Close the forward or aft cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
