A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Door Locks
(1) Installation of the Single Blade Door lock:
(a) Open the lavatory door.
(b) Put the spring loaded cover (8) and the door lock (1) in position in the lavatory door.
(c) Lift the flap (9) and install the screws (6) and the knurled pin (7).
(d) Install the screws (4) and the knob (2).
(e) Put the section (5) in position and install the screws (3).
(f) Operate the door lock (1) and make sure it operates correctly.
(g) Close the lavatory door.
(2) Installation of the Bi-folding Door lock:
(a) Open the lavatory door.
(b) Put the spring loaded cover (12) and the door lock (1) in position in the lavatory door.
(c) Lift the flap (11) and install the screws (9) and the knurled pin (10).
(d) Install the screws (7) and the knob (2).
(e) Torque the knob (2) to between 0.35 and 0.2 m.daN (30.97 and 17.70 lbf.in )

(f) For the Person with Reduced Mobility (PRM) lavatory, install the bolt (4) and torque the bolt (4) to between 0.35 and 0.2 m.daN (30.97 and 17.70 lbf.in )

(g) Install the knob (3) to the bolt (4) and torque the set-screw (5) to between 0.3 and 0.2 m.daN (26.55 and 17.70 lbf.in )

(h) Put the section (8) in position and install the screws (6).
(i) Operate the door lock (1) and make sure it operates correctly.
(j) Close the lavatory door.
5. Close-up(1) Installation of the Single Blade Door lock:
(a) Open the lavatory door.
(b) Put the spring loaded cover (8) and the door lock (1) in position in the lavatory door.
(c) Lift the flap (9) and install the screws (6) and the knurled pin (7).
(d) Install the screws (4) and the knob (2).
(e) Put the section (5) in position and install the screws (3).
(f) Operate the door lock (1) and make sure it operates correctly.
(g) Close the lavatory door.
(2) Installation of the Bi-folding Door lock:
(a) Open the lavatory door.
(b) Put the spring loaded cover (12) and the door lock (1) in position in the lavatory door.
(c) Lift the flap (11) and install the screws (9) and the knurled pin (10).
(d) Install the screws (7) and the knob (2).
(e) Torque the knob (2) to between 0.35 and 0.2 m.daN (30.97 and 17.70 lbf.in )
