(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

(1) If necessary, remove the component from the aircraft (refer to the related Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) chapter).

CAUTION: USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED MATERIALS AND OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURERS. OTHER MATERIALS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION OF THE COMPONENTS AND THE RELATED AREA.

A. Repair of the washbasin cover with reinforcement

Washbasin cover - repair with reinforcement

WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.

(1) Make the bonding area of the washbasin cover and washbasin cover reinforcement rough. Use the abrasive paper, 320-400 grade.
(2) Clean the bonding area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) .
(3) Bond the washbasin cover reinforcement to the washbasin cover with Epoxy Adhesive-- - Legacy 1 (Material No.05EML9) .

NOTE: Put in position the angle to match with the washbasin cover holes.

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) If necessary, install the component in the aircraft (refer to the related Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) chapter).
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
