(1) Open the door (2).
(2) Remove the screws (3) and the upper attachments (4).
(3) Remove the screws (11), the covers (10) and the shim plates (15).
(4) Record the number and the position of the shim plates (15).
(5) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (6) and the shim plates (7).
(6) Record the number and the position of the shim plates (7).
(7) Remove the inner eccentric-bushes (8), the outer eccentric-bushes (9), the floor cups (16) and the shim plates (17).
(8) Record the number and the position of the shim plates (17).
(9) Carefully lift the stowage (1) and remove it.
(10) Remove the shim plates (12) and record their number and their position.
(11) Record the position of the seat-track fittings (13) and remove them.

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THIS EQUIPMENT. THIS EQUIPMENT IS HEAVY (MORE THAN 12 KG (26.5 lb)) AND CAN CAUSE INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
CAUTION:
WHEN YOU MOVE A HEAVY COMPONENT, DO NOT PUSH IT ALONG THE CABIN FLOOR OR LET IT RUB AGAINST THE FLOOR. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABIN FLOOR AND/OR THE COMPONENT.

A. Removal of the Stowage 6580MM
(1) On closets with Claircom phones installed, clearly tag closet with the aircraft number and location.
(2) Open the door (2).
(3) Remove the screws (3) and the footrest (4).
(4) Remove the screws (16) and the covers (15).
(5) Remove the bolts (10) and the cover-plates (11).
(6) Remove the inner eccentric-bushes (12) and the outer eccentric-bushes (13)
(7) Remove the threaded bushes (14).
(8) Carefully move the stowage (1) a short distance inboard until you can get access to the electrical connectors (6).
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (6), use the ELEC CONTACTS INSERTION EXTRACTION TOOL M15570-20.
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(10) Carefully lift the stowage (1) and remove it.
(12) Pull the synthetic fibre cords and remove the sealant from the seat tracks (18) if installed.
(13) Remove the seat-track fittings (17) from the seat tracks (18).
Subtask 25-27-44-020-053-CG ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On closets with Claircom phones installed, clearly tag closet with the aircraft number and location.
(2) Open the door (2).
(3) Remove the screws (3) and the footrest (4).

(5) Remove the bolts (10) and the cover-plates (11).
(6) Remove the inner eccentric-bushes (12) and the outer eccentric-bushes (13)
(7) Remove the threaded bushes (14).
(8) Carefully move the stowage (1) a short distance inboard until you can get access to the electrical connectors (6).
NOTE: To avoid damage to the stowage (1) and the adjacent area it is recommended that two persons do this procedure.
(9) Disconnect electrical connector as applicable: (a) Disconnect the electrical connector (6), use the ELEC CONTACTS INSERTION EXTRACTION TOOL M15570-20.
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(10) Carefully lift the stowage (1) and remove it.
NOTE: To avoid damage to the stowage (1) and the adjacent area it is recommended that two persons do this procedure.
(11) Record the position of the seat-track fittings (17). (12) Pull the synthetic fibre cords and remove the sealant from the seat tracks (18) if installed.
(13) Remove the seat-track fittings (17) from the seat tracks (18).
WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

(4) Record the number and the position of the shim plates (15).
(5) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (6) and the shim plates (7).

(7) Remove the inner eccentric-bushes (8), the outer eccentric-bushes (9), the floor cups (16) and the shim plates (17).
(8) Record the number and the position of the shim plates (17).
(9) Carefully lift the stowage (1) and remove it.
(10) Remove the shim plates (12) and record their number and their position.
(11) Record the position of the seat-track fittings (13) and remove them.
