B. Get Access
(1) For the location of this component, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 25-24-00-00).
(2) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) is in position below the applicable door damper.
4. Procedure(1) For the location of this component, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 25-24-00-00).
(2) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) is in position below the applicable door damper.
Subtask 25-24-41-960-059-A
A. Replacement of the OHSC Door Damper
(1) Open the OHSC door (1).
(2) Remove the retaining ring (5), the washer (4) and the bolt (3).
(3) Disconnect the door damper (6) from the hinge assembly (2).
(4) Remove the retaining ring (7), the washer (8) and the bolt (9).
(5) Disconnect the door damper (6) from the bracket (10) and remove the door damper (6).
(6) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(7) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(8) Put the new door damper (6) in position on the bracket (10).
(9) Install the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the retaining ring (7).
(10) Put the door damper (6) in position on the hinge assembly (2).
(11) Install the bolt (3), the washer (4) and the retaining ring (5).
(12) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(13) Close the OHSC door (1).
Subtask 25-24-41-710-054-A (1) Open the OHSC door (1).
(2) Remove the retaining ring (5), the washer (4) and the bolt (3).
(3) Disconnect the door damper (6) from the hinge assembly (2).
(4) Remove the retaining ring (7), the washer (8) and the bolt (9).
(5) Disconnect the door damper (6) from the bracket (10) and remove the door damper (6).
(6) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(7) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(8) Put the new door damper (6) in position on the bracket (10).
(9) Install the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the retaining ring (7).
(10) Put the door damper (6) in position on the hinge assembly (2).
(11) Install the bolt (3), the washer (4) and the retaining ring (5).
(12) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(13) Close the OHSC door (1).
B. Operational Test of the OHSC Door Damper
(1) Open and close the OHSC door and make sure that:
(a) The door damper operates smoothly and correctly.
(b) The OHSC door is aligned with the OHSC contour when the OHSC door is closed.
5. Close-up(1) Open and close the OHSC door and make sure that:
(a) The door damper operates smoothly and correctly.
(b) The OHSC door is aligned with the OHSC contour when the OHSC door is closed.
