A. Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

A. Get Access
   (1) Remove one lower sidewall panel in the FWD, MID and AFT passenger cabin section (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
NOTE: The selection of the panels is an airline decision.

B. Visual Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed visual inspection of the rear face of the lower sidewall panels and of the areas behind the lower sidewall panels for:
  • Foreign material accumulation
  • Dust contamination (e.g. clothing fibers, exfoliated skin and nicotine).
   (2) If you find foreign material, remove more adjacent panels and do a visual inspection.
   (3) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area if necessary.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Install the removed lower sidewall panels in the passenger cabin (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-400-001).
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
