A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Restraint System
(1) Install the shoulder harness (7):
(a) Put the inertia reels (8) in position and install the screws (9).
(b) TORQUE the screws (9) to between 100 and 60 lbf.in (1.13 and 0.68 m.daN )

(c) Pull the shoulder harness (7) up and put it in position on the seat structure (5).
(e) Install the headrest (1).
(f) Install the backrest cushions (2) and (3).
(a) Put the spacers (10) and the belt assembly (11) in position.
(b) Make sure that the belt assembly (11) is not twisted.
(c) Make sure that the labels on the belt assembly (11) (that give the part number information) point to the backrest of the seat.
(d) Install the bolts (12).
(e) TORQUE the bolts (12) to between 158 and 105 lbf.in (1.79 and 1.19 m.daN )

(3) Open the locking device and put the swivel seat back to the fold in position.
Subtask 25-22-43-420-055-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the shoulder harness (7):
(a) Put the inertia reels (8) in position and install the screws (9).
(b) TORQUE the screws (9) to between 100 and 60 lbf.in (1.13 and 0.68 m.daN )
. (c) Pull the shoulder harness (7) up and put it in position on the seat structure (5).
NOTE: You can use a cord to pull the latch (6) of the shoulder harness (7) up.
(d) Make sure that the shoulder harness (7) is not twisted.(e) Install the headrest (1).
(f) Install the backrest cushions (2) and (3).
NOTE: The backrest cushions (2) and (3) are attached to the seat structure (5) with burr strips.
(2) Install the belt assembly (11): (a) Put the spacers (10) and the belt assembly (11) in position.
(b) Make sure that the belt assembly (11) is not twisted.
(c) Make sure that the labels on the belt assembly (11) (that give the part number information) point to the backrest of the seat.
(d) Install the bolts (12).
(e) TORQUE the bolts (12) to between 158 and 105 lbf.in (1.79 and 1.19 m.daN )
. (3) Open the locking device and put the swivel seat back to the fold in position.
B. Installation of the Restraint System
(1) Install the restraint system assy (8), the washers (10) and the bolts (11).
(2) TORQUE the bolts (11) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(3) Install the inertia reel(s) (9), the washers (7) and the screws (6).
(4) TORQUE the screws (6) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
.
(5) Install the cover (3) and the screws (2).
(6) Install the backrest cushion (1).
(8) Open the locking device and put the swivel seat (5) back to the fold in position.
Subtask 25-22-43-420-055-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the restraint system assy (8), the washers (10) and the bolts (11).
(2) TORQUE the bolts (11) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (3) Install the inertia reel(s) (9), the washers (7) and the screws (6).
(4) TORQUE the screws (6) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (5) Install the cover (3) and the screws (2).
(6) Install the backrest cushion (1).
NOTE: The backrest cushion is attached to the structure with burrstrip.
(7) Remove the weight from the seat pan (4) and put it in the close position. (8) Open the locking device and put the swivel seat (5) back to the fold in position.
B. Installation of the Restraint System
(1) Install the restraint system assy (11), the bushings (14), the bolts (12) and the nuts (13).
(2) Install the inertia reel(s) (9), the washers (7), the screws (6) and the nuts (10).
(3) Hold the beam strap (3) in position and install the screw (4).
(4) Close the cushion support (8).
(5) Install the backrest cushion (5).
(7) Open the locking device and put the swivel seat (2) back to the fold in position.
Subtask 25-22-43-710-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the restraint system assy (11), the bushings (14), the bolts (12) and the nuts (13).
(2) Install the inertia reel(s) (9), the washers (7), the screws (6) and the nuts (10).
(3) Hold the beam strap (3) in position and install the screw (4).
(4) Close the cushion support (8).
(5) Install the backrest cushion (5).
NOTE: The backrest cushion is attached to the structure with burr strip.
(6) Remove the weight from the seat pan (1) and put it in the close position. (7) Open the locking device and put the swivel seat (2) back to the fold in position.
C. Do the Test of the Restraint System.
(1) Make sure that the buckle locks/unlocks correctly.
(2) Make sure that you can adjust the length of the belt assy correctly.
(3) Make sure that you can pull out the shoulder harness smoothly and that it goes back into its inertia reel automatically.
(4) Make sure that the shoulder harness locks when you pull hard and that it unlocks when you release the tension.
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the buckle locks/unlocks correctly.
(2) Make sure that you can adjust the length of the belt assy correctly.
(3) Make sure that you can pull out the shoulder harness smoothly and that it goes back into its inertia reel automatically.
(4) Make sure that the shoulder harness locks when you pull hard and that it unlocks when you release the tension.
