A. Operational Check of the Cabin-Attendant Seat Belts (and the Harness Roll-Up Mechanism)
(1) Make sure that the seat belt buckle operates correctly:
(a) Engage the lock clip into the seat belt buckle to close the seat belt.
(b) Pull the seat belt and make sure that the seat belt buckle does not disengage from the lock clip.
(c) Disengage the seat belt buckle from the lock clip. Make sure that the seat belt opens.
(2) Pull out the shoulder harness with a sudden movement.
(3) Make sure that the seat belt rolls/retractor reels stop the movement of the shoulder harness.
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the seat belt buckle operates correctly:
(a) Engage the lock clip into the seat belt buckle to close the seat belt.
(b) Pull the seat belt and make sure that the seat belt buckle does not disengage from the lock clip.
(c) Disengage the seat belt buckle from the lock clip. Make sure that the seat belt opens.
(2) Pull out the shoulder harness with a sudden movement.
(3) Make sure that the seat belt rolls/retractor reels stop the movement of the shoulder harness.
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
