3. Job Set-up
Subtask 25-20-00-861-060-A
A. Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Remove the lower sidewall-panel you will repair from the aircraft (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 25-20-00-350-055-A
A. Removal of the Damaged Components
   (1) If the aluminum profile (2) is damaged:
     (a) Remove the damaged profile (2) with a WEDGE - NON METALLIC.
     (b) Remove the remaining sealant from the lower sidewall-panel with a SPATULA - NON METALLIC.
     (c) Transfer the length of the damaged profile (2) to the new semi-finished material PROFILE ABS5310-01, AIPC 25-23-44- and cut it to the correct length.
     (d) Identify the new profile with the part number of the removed profile.
   (2) If the section sealing (4) is damaged:
     (a) Remove the damaged section sealing (4) with a SPATULA - NON METALLIC.
     (b) Remove the remaining sealant (3) from the lower sidewall-panel (1) with a SPATULA - NON METALLIC.

B. Installation of the New Components
   (1) For the aluminum profile (2):
     (a) Clean the mating surface of the sidewall-panel (1) and the new profile (2) with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
     (b) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Density Multi Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06ACB1) (5) with a GUN - SEALANT to seal the new profile (1) along the radius and the edge.
NOTE: It is necessary to obey the manufacturers instructions for the sealant gun.
     (c) Put two 14RAD1Cord-- Synthetic fiber Dia: 2.5 mm - in the sealant (2), one along the radius and one along the edge.
     (d) Install the new profile (2) on the lower sidewall-panel.
     (e) Hold the new profile (2) in position with Adhesive Film Tape-Masking - - (Material No.05RDA1) .
     (f) Let the sealant cure according to the manufacturers data sheet.
     (g) Remove the masking tape.
   (2) For the section sealing (4):
     (a) Clean the mating surface of the sidewall-panel (1) and the SECTION SEALING ABS0306B04-3-3 (4) with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
     (b) Apply Contact Adhesive-Window - Rubber Bonding Silicone base - (Material No.05JCD1) (3) and install the new section sealing on the lower sidewall-panel.
     (c) Let the adhesive cure according to the manufacturers data sheet.
5. Close-up

A. Install the lower sidewall-panel in the aircraft (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-400-001).

B. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
