A. Painting Procedure
(1) Put PAPER - MASKING and TAPE - MASKING on the area adjacent to the damage.
(2) Remove the damaged paint and primer coatings with CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 220 - 240).
(4) Apply a thin layer of paint of the applicable color Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative Furnishing (Material No.04JMD9) .
5. Close-up(1) Put PAPER - MASKING and TAPE - MASKING on the area adjacent to the damage.
(2) Remove the damaged paint and primer coatings with CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 220 - 240).
NOTE: Make sure that the surface is smooth and flat.
(3) Clean the prepared and adjacent areas with a VACUUM CLEANER to remove particles of dust and dirt. (4) Apply a thin layer of paint of the applicable color Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative Furnishing (Material No.04JMD9) .
NOTE: Make sure that the thickness is not more than 25 micrometers.
NOTE: The paint references with color designation used in aircraft cockpits are:
ASNA 3687-5316 GREY-BLUE or ABS 5650B-5316 GREY-BLUE
ASNA 3687-5317 DARK-BLUE or ABS 5650B-5317 DARK-BLUE
ASNA 3687-5330 BLACK or ABS 5650B-5330 BLACK
