GENERAL VISUAL INSPECTION OF EWIS CONNECTIONS, ATTACHMENT POINTS AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS BETWEEN SEATS AND A/C INSTALLED IN THE AFT CABIN UTILITY AREA (EWIS)
NOTE: This is an EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) procedure. EWIS is defined in ESPM 20-33-11.
NOTE: This task is applicable only for aircraft with seats and with wiring connections between seats and aircraft.

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
(2) Open the aft passenger/crew door 832 (842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the seat covers in zones 261 and 262, if necessary.
Subtask 24-92-00-862-109-A (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
(2) Open the aft passenger/crew door 832 (842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the seat covers in zones 261 and 262, if necessary.
B. Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

A. General Visual Inspection of Wiring Connectors And Attachment Points Between Seats and Aircraft Installed in the Aft Cabin Utility Area
(1) Do a visual inspection of the wiring to make sure that there is no signs of ageing, alteration, overheating, scaling and deformation ESPM 2052110.
(2) Make sure that there is no dust or lint contamination.
5. Close-up(1) Do a visual inspection of the wiring to make sure that there is no signs of ageing, alteration, overheating, scaling and deformation ESPM 2052110.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the seat covers in zones 261 and 262, if necessary.
(3) Close the aft passenger/crew door 832 (842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
