A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(2) Open the aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(3) Remove the sidewall panels in the aft cargo compartment from FR59 to FR65 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
(4) If installed, remove the additional center tank No. 5 from zones 161 and 162, (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00) if applicable.

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

4. Procedure

A. Cleaning of All Wiring Installed in the Bulk Cargo Compartment (Only Contaminated Wiring)
(1) Clean the wiring if there is dust, lint or hydraulic contamination ESPM 2055000.
(a) On the AC/DC power-distribution routes: 1P and 2P.
(b) On the flight control routes: 7S and 8S.
(c) On the engine control routes: 1S, 2S and APU.
(d) On the other routes: 1M and 2M.
(e) On the coaxial wiring routes: 5T and 6T.

5. Close-up
Subtask 24-92-00-410-147-B

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
if applicable.
(2) If removed, install the additional center tank No. 5 in zones 161 and 162, (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40)
(3) Install the sidewall panels in the aft cargo compartment from FR59 to FR65 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
(4) Close the aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
