BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
Subtask 24-92-00-010-189-A (1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
- Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
- Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the ENG/MODE selector switch and the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch.
- Put the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION in position on the flap/slat control lever (Ref. AMM TASK 27-00-00-480-002).
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the flap/slat control lever to tell persons not to operate the flap/slat controls.
B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position on the right side of the engine.
4. Procedure(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position on the right side of the engine.
Subtask 24-92-00-020-053-A
A. Removal of the Pylon Power Feeder-Cables from the upper forward pylon-interface terminal-block
(1) Disconnect the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the upper forward pylon-interface terminal-block (26).
(a) Remove the three bolts (29) and cover (28) from the upper forward pylon-interface terminal-block (26).
(b) Remove the four nuts (27) from the upper forward pylon-interface terminal-block (26).
(c) Loosen the two bolts (24) from the bar clamp (25).
(d) Remove the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the upper forward pylon-interface terminal-block (26).
(e) Disengage the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) out of the top half of the bar clamp (25).
1 Carefully pull the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the bar clamp (25).
(f) If you install the same four pylon power feeder-cables (2):
1 Make marks on the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) (4 (white), 1 (blue), 2 (yellow) and 3 (red)) for the subsequent installation.
(g) Remove the bolt (21), washer (19) and nut (22) from the clamp (17).
(h) Disconnect the clamp (17) from the support bracket (15).
(i) Disengage the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the clamp (17).
Subtask 24-92-00-410-199-A (1) Disconnect the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the upper forward pylon-interface terminal-block (26).
(a) Remove the three bolts (29) and cover (28) from the upper forward pylon-interface terminal-block (26).
(b) Remove the four nuts (27) from the upper forward pylon-interface terminal-block (26).
(c) Loosen the two bolts (24) from the bar clamp (25).
(d) Remove the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the upper forward pylon-interface terminal-block (26).
(e) Disengage the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) out of the top half of the bar clamp (25).
1 Carefully pull the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the bar clamp (25).
(f) If you install the same four pylon power feeder-cables (2):
1 Make marks on the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) (4 (white), 1 (blue), 2 (yellow) and 3 (red)) for the subsequent installation.
(g) Remove the bolt (21), washer (19) and nut (22) from the clamp (17).
(h) Disconnect the clamp (17) from the support bracket (15).
(i) Disengage the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the clamp (17).
B. Close Access
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-803):

(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position on the right side of the engine.
(4) Remove the access doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-000-807):

C. Removal of the Pylon Power Feeder-Cables from the pylon interface terminal-block
(1) Disconnect the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the pylon interface terminal-block (1).
(a) Cut and remove the lockwire from the cover.
(b) Remove the two bolts (6) and the cover (8) from the pylon interface terminal-block (1).
(c) Remove the four nuts (5) and locking washers (4) from the pylon interface terminal-block (1).
(d) Remove the four wing power feeder-cables (3) from the pylon interface terminal-block (1).
(e) Remove the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the pylon interface terminal-block (1).
(f) If you install the same four pylon power feeder-cables (2):
1 Make marks on the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) (4 (white), 1 (blue), 2 (yellow) and 3 (red)) for the subsequent installation.
(g) Remove the two bolts (9), washers (10) and nuts (12) from the fire seal (11).
(h) Remove the fire seal (11) from the rib (13).
(i) Remove the bolt (20) and washer (18) from the clamp (16).
(j) Disconnect the clamp (16) from the support bracket (14).
(k) Disengage the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the clamp (16).
(2) Remove the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the pylon.
(1) Disconnect the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the pylon interface terminal-block (1).
(a) Cut and remove the lockwire from the cover.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
1 Cut and remove the lockwire (7) from the cover (8). (b) Remove the two bolts (6) and the cover (8) from the pylon interface terminal-block (1).
(c) Remove the four nuts (5) and locking washers (4) from the pylon interface terminal-block (1).
(d) Remove the four wing power feeder-cables (3) from the pylon interface terminal-block (1).
(e) Remove the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the pylon interface terminal-block (1).
(f) If you install the same four pylon power feeder-cables (2):
1 Make marks on the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) (4 (white), 1 (blue), 2 (yellow) and 3 (red)) for the subsequent installation.
(g) Remove the two bolts (9), washers (10) and nuts (12) from the fire seal (11).
(h) Remove the fire seal (11) from the rib (13).
(i) Remove the bolt (20) and washer (18) from the clamp (16).
(j) Disconnect the clamp (16) from the support bracket (14).
(k) Disengage the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the clamp (16).
(2) Remove the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the pylon.
