   (1) Do the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).

B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position on the right side of the engine.
   (2) Remove the access panel (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-000-805):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

   (3) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Ground Maintenance
WARNING: YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
   (1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for ground maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805).

D. Get Access
   (1) Open the left thrust-reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

     (b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)

   (2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.
   (3) Installation of the engine protection covers
CAUTION: INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
     (a) Install all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine.
4. Procedure
Subtask 24-92-00-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Pylon Power Feeder-Cables
   (1) Disconnect the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the pylon interface terminal (1).
     (a) Cut and remove the lockwire from the cover.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
       1 Cut and remove the lockwire (7) from the cover (8).
     (b) Remove the two bolts (6) and the cover (8) from the shield.
     (c) Remove the four nuts (5) and locking washer (4) from the terminal block studs.
     (d) Remove the four IDG power feeder-cables (3) from the terminal block studs.
     (e) Remove the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the terminal block studs.
     (f) If you install the same four pylon power feeder-cables (2):
       1 Make marks on the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) (4 (white), 1 (blue), 2 (yellow) and 3 (red)) for the subsequent installation.
     (g) Remove the two bolts (12) and washers (11).
     (h) Remove the plate (10).
     (i) Disengage the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the block clamp (9).
     (j) Remove the block clamp (9).
     (k) Remove the two bolts (19), washers (20) and nuts (24).
     (l) Remove the plates (21) and (23).
     (m) Disengage the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the block clamp (22).
     (n) Remove the block clamp (22).
     (o) Remove the two screws (27) and washers (26) to disengage the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the support bracket (25).
     (p) Remove the two bolts (18) and washers (17).
     (q) Remove the two plates (14) and (16) from the support bracket (13).
     (r) Disengage the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the block clamp (15).
     (s) Remove the block clamp (15).
     (t) Remove the two bolts (30) and washers (29) from the clip nuts.
     (u) Disengage the two clamps (28) from the pylon power feeder-cables (2).
   (2) Disconnect the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the upper forward pylon-interface terminal (34).
     (a) Cut and remove the lockwire from the cover.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
       1 Cut and remove the lockwire (37) from the cover (35).
     (b) Remove the two bolts (36) and cover (35) from the shield.
     (c) Remove the four nuts (38) and spring washers (39) from the terminal block studs.
     (d) Remove the eight wing power feeder-cables (40) from the terminal block studs.
     (e) Remove the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the terminal block studs.
     (f) If you install the same four pylon power feeder-cables (2):
       1 Make marks on the four pylon power feeder-cables (2) (4 (white), 1 (blue), 2 (yellow) and 3 (red)) for the subsequent installation.
     (g) Hold the pylon power feeder-cables (2) tightly with your hands.
     (h) Remove the two bolts (33) and washers (32).
     (i) Disconnect the two clamps (31) from the support bracket.
     (j) Disengage the two clamps (31) from the pylon power feeder-cables (2).
     (k) Remove the pylon power feeder-cables (2) from the pylon.
