A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the overhead panel, on the ELEC section of panel 35VU:
(a) Make sure that the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on).
(b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch.

B. Removal of the Ceiling Panels
(1) Remove the ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(2) Remove the forward utility-area ceiling-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-001).

Subtask 24-56-55-020-051-A

A. Removal of the Contactor

CAUTION: REMOVE THE CONTACTOR ONLY AND NOT THE BASE OR THE MODULE WHERE THE WIRES ARE CONNECTED.

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the contactor (3).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Loosen the captive screws (5). Do not remove the captive screws (5) and the spring washers (6) from the contactor (3).
(4) Remove the contactor (3).
