Subtask 24-41-00-860-062-A
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the ground power source is not connected to the aircraft external-power receptacle.

B. Get Access
   (1) Put an access platform in position at the external-power receptacle door (121AL).
   (2) Open the external-power receptacle door (121AL).
4. Procedure
Subtask 24-41-00-210-051-A
A. Visual Inspection of the Electrical-Power Receptacle Assembly and the External-Power Receptacle Door
   (1) Examine the electrical-power receptacle assembly.
     (a) Examine the electrical-power receptacle assembly for overheat damage SRM 512800.
       1 If there is overheat damage:
  • Clean the electrical-power receptacle assembly with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) .
  • Make sure that there are no holes on the receptacle and the adjacent structure.
     (b) Examine the electrical-power receptacle assembly for cracks:
       1 Make sure that there are no cracks on the external power receptacle and on the adjacent structure.
     (c) Examine the aircraft structure around the electrical power receptacle.
       1 If the aircraft structure is damaged:
   (2) Examine the external-power receptacle door (121AL).
     (a) Open and close the external-power receptacle door (121AL).
     (b) Make sure that the external-power receptacle door (121AL) operates correctly.
       1 If the external-power receptacle door (121AL) does not operate correctly:
   (3) If the electrical-power receptacle assembly is damaged and the external-power receptacle door (121AL) was not removed:
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to connect power connector to the electrical power receptacle.
  • Put a shrink sleeve ABS0916B07 in position below the pins A and B of the electrical power receptacle.
    Shrink it with a GUN - HOT AIR.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Close the external-power receptacle door (121AL).

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Remove the access platform(s).
   (2) Make an entry in the logbook.
