A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Make sure that the access platform is in position.

B. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Remove the sealant from the surface of the structure in contact with the hinge and clean the surface with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Apply a bead of Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) on the structure in contact with the door hinge.
4. Procedure(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Remove the sealant from the surface of the structure in contact with the hinge and clean the surface with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Apply a bead of Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) on the structure in contact with the door hinge.

A. Installation of the External-Power Receptacle Door
(1) Put the door (9) in position in its opening.
(2) Hold the hinge (12) against the structure.
(3) Install the three bolts (13) and tighten them.
(4) Install the bonding lead (5), the washer (7) and the bolt (6) and tighten it.
(6) Install the screw (10), the washer (2) and the nut (4) and tighten it.
(7) Safety the nut (4) with a new AIPC 52-42-12-01-100 COTTER PIN (3) (3).
(8) Remove the unwanted sealant around the hinge and make sure that the bead of sealant around the hinge is continuous.
Subtask 52-42-12-210-051-A (1) Put the door (9) in position in its opening.
(2) Hold the hinge (12) against the structure.
(3) Install the three bolts (13) and tighten them.
(4) Install the bonding lead (5), the washer (7) and the bolt (6) and tighten it.
NOTE: Do an electrical bonding when you install the bolt (6) and the washer (7) on the stucture (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(5) Put the spring (14) in position with the plate (8). (6) Install the screw (10), the washer (2) and the nut (4) and tighten it.
(7) Safety the nut (4) with a new AIPC 52-42-12-01-100 COTTER PIN (3) (3).
(8) Remove the unwanted sealant around the hinge and make sure that the bead of sealant around the hinge is continuous.
B. Check of the External-Power Receptacle Door
(1) Open and close the door.
(2) Make sure that the door operates correctly.
5. Close-up(1) Open and close the door.
(2) Make sure that the door operates correctly.
