Removal of the AC Generator Control-Harness

YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for ground maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access
(1) Open the thrust-reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

4. Procedure(1) Open the thrust-reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

(2) Installation of the engine protection covers
CAUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(a) Install all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine. CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
Subtask 24-21-61-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Removal of the AC Generator Control-Harness from the Engine and Pylon
(1) Find the harness (1) attached to the left and right sides of the engine core.
(2) Disconnect the connector (P70) from the Low Oil Pressure (LOP) switch with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(3) Disconnect the connectors (4000XU-A), (4000XU-B), and (4000XU-C) from the Integrated Drive Generator (IDG) with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(4) Disconnect the connectors (401VC), (404VC), and (405VC) from the pylon with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(5) Disconnect the connector (P60) from the hydraulic pump with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(6) Remove the nine bolts (2), washers (3), and clamps (4).
(7) Remove the harness (1) from the engine.
(1) Find the harness (1) attached to the left and right sides of the engine core.
(2) Disconnect the connector (P70) from the Low Oil Pressure (LOP) switch with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(3) Disconnect the connectors (4000XU-A), (4000XU-B), and (4000XU-C) from the Integrated Drive Generator (IDG) with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(4) Disconnect the connectors (401VC), (404VC), and (405VC) from the pylon with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(5) Disconnect the connector (P60) from the hydraulic pump with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(6) Remove the nine bolts (2), washers (3), and clamps (4).
(7) Remove the harness (1) from the engine.
