A. Cleaning of the Plastic Surfaces and Mirrors

Linings and Furnishings - Lavatory

Component Location/Surface Finish Identification

NOTE: The water and equipment that you use for these procedures must be clean and contain no particles that could damage the surfaces.

(1) Cleaning of the plastic surfaces:
(a) Put the CAP - PROTECTION on the electrical outlets so that they do not become wet.
(b) Remove the loose dirt from the surface with the BRUSH - BRISTLED, FIBER, SOFT.
(c) Apply the Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Interior - - (Material No.08ACA1) to the dirty surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(d) Clean the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and the clean warm water.
(e) Dry the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(f) Remove the protection caps from the electrical outlets.
(2) Cleaning of the transparent plastic surfaces:
(a) Put the CAP - PROTECTION on the electrical outlets so that they do not become wet.
(b) Clean the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and the clean warm water.

NOTE: Make sure that there is no abrasive material on the surface.
Abrasive materials can cause damage to the surface.

(c) Apply the Aqueous Cleaner-Transparent Plastic - - (Material No.08AFA1) to the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(d) Clean the surface with clean warm water and dry it with the CHAMOIS LEATHER.
(e) If there is a stain, do steps 2.(c) and 2.(d) again.
(f) Remove the protection caps from the electrical outlets.
(3) Cleaning of the handsets:
(a) Put the CAP - PROTECTION on the electrical outlets so that they do not become wet.
(b) Remove the loose dirt from the surface with the BRUSH - BRISTLED, FIBER, SOFT.
(c) Apply the Disinfectant and cleaner-Aircraft interior - specific areas (Material No.11CAA2) to the dirty surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(d) Clean the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and the clean warm water.
(e) Dry the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(f) Remove the protection caps from the electrical outlets.
(4) Cleaning of the mirrors:
(a) Clean the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and the clean warm water.
(b) Apply the Aqueous Cleaner-Transparent Plastic - - (Material No.08AFA1) to the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(c) Clean the surface with the clean warm water and dry it with the CHAMOIS LEATHER.
(5) Cleaning of the painted components:
(a) Put the CAP - PROTECTION on the electrical outlets to make sure they do not become wet.
(b) Clean the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and the Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Interior - - (Material No.08ACA1) .
(c) Clean the surface with the clean warm water.
(d) Dry the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(e) Remove the protection caps from the electrical outlets.
