   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
   (2) Open the access doors 312AR 314AR 315AL 316AR.

NOTE: You must do this inspection if:
  • the tail hits the runway during the take-off,
  • the tail hits the runway during the landing.
NOTE: All inspections are visual unless the text gives other instructions.

Examine the skin panels, the splices
and the rivets for distortion, cracks,
pulled or torn fasteners and damaged
paintwork.
If you find damage:

(1) Internally examine the frames, the
cleats and the stringers for
distortion, cracks, pulled and
torn fasteners.

(2) Internally examine the lower part
of the pressure bulkhead FR70, on
the forward and the aft face, in
the area below the
passenger-compartment floor level,
between the L STGR28 and R STGR28,
the pressure dome, the frame
segment and the vertical cross
beam at the aircraft center line
for:
- distortion, cracks and dents.

Examine the APU diverter, intake flap,
intake nose and drain mast for
distortion, cracks, pulled or torn
fasteners and damaged paintwork
-for APU GTCP 36-300:

-for APU 131-9(A):

If you find damage:

(1) Internally examine the diverter
system, the ball bearing control
and the flap actuator for
distortion.
Make sure that they are correctly
attached.

   (1) CLOSE THE ACCESS DOORS 312AR 314AR 315AL 316AR.

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Remove the access platform(s).
   (2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
